Lezione 1
The Tension Of Transition
There's nothing automatically bad about change. How you relate to change and the emotions and stress you feel depends on a variety of factors, including your mindset, past experiences, genetics, learned behaviors, and attitudes. This lesson concludes with an overview of 4 stages of life transition that we will explore in the following lessons.
Lezione 2
Emotional Surge
When you’re going through a life transition, it’s normal to feel a lot of emotions. Self-validation is a practice of being your real self with your own thoughts and feelings and not lying to yourself about how you feel. Self-validation and compassion are key tools in managing the emotions that come with change and life transitions.
Lezione 3
Fear
With life transitions, fear can show up as fear of the unknown, fear of failure or losing control, fear of the change itself, or fear of others' reactions and perceptions. It can cause you to have defensive words or thoughts about the possible change, hesitate to make smaller decisions and take action, or try to ignore the change that's taking place or will take place. You'll learn how to find steadiness within to help your mind disengage from stressful thoughts.
Lezione 4
Openness
This lesson explores the concept of impermanence and the fundamental groundlessness of being human. You’ll also explore the role of your self-talk in helping you relate to change with more openness and acceptance. This lesson will describe a key tool you can use to create positive thoughts about your life transition.
Lezione 5
Optimism
Cultivating optimism during times of transition can be related to having a rational interpretation of the change. This lesson offers you support in taking a balanced perspective by guiding you to examine your thoughts so you can begin to let go of fear-based clinging and embrace the changing flow of life. Focusing on optimism and hope for your new beginning will help you find peace and confidence as you move forward.
