The prime objective of the course is to learn the method and technique of overtone chanting and singing. By utilizing simple words we all know, along with easy lip and tongue movements, this ancient form of singing and vocalizing can be enjoyed by all of us, quickly and easily.

Paul Carlos is the founding director of Sacred Spiral Yoga School and is a professional musician having been involved with Sacred Sound for many years. Paul has extensive experience teaching, leading retreats, workshops and working with individuals with Sound Healing and Sound-Scapes.

What is Overtone Singing and Chanting?

This first module takes a look into what overtone singing and chanting is as well as a little cultural and historical background. Various examples are given and samples of how the technique can be used in our chanting practice or more creatively in song and other sacred music.

Module two of the Learn Overtone Singing and Chanting course, take us into some of the major benefits and other good reasons to start. The course is pitched at a general and easy level to give everyone access to these benefits.

Lezione 3

The Main Techniques of Creating Over-tones

In this third module of the Learn Overtone Singing and Chanting course, I tackle the practical steps to learning the technique. These involve simple words that we all know and the common vowel sounds that we are also all familiar with. No special abilities or talent is required and even if you are notorious for singing out of tune, you can still learn, benefit and enjoy this material.
