Cosa imparerai
We are all pursuing happiness through our everyday pursuits in the form of actions, relationships, and things that we buy. In each of these pursuits, there is an inherent misunderstanding that the happiness lies at the end of the pursuit. In this course, we explore this misunderstanding in an experiential way so that we can realize that the happiness we are seeking is right here and now. Many times, we attribute our suffering to "them" viz. situations, parents, kids, spouses, circumstances. We explore, in this course, that this misplaced attribution keeps us from seeing the freedom and agency we have to discover our own happiness. We keep postponing the peace, calm, joy, celebration in the pursuit of something ephemeral only to be disappointed at the end. In this course, we debunk this approach and expose ourselves to the reality of what it is.

Lezione 1
The Illusion Of Happiness In Future: Here And Now
In this thought-provoking contemplation, we confront the underlying motivation behind our pursuits: the universal desire for happiness and peace. This guided talk challenges the common misconception that achieving external goals, whether related to relationships, career, or material success, will inherently lead us to lasting contentment. Upon introspection into the root problem of misattributing happiness to future destinations, we are urged to question the validity of these promises of joy. Using metaphors such as a parched traveler seeking an oasis, the transient nature of external achievements and the pitfalls of fixating on them for fulfillment is exposed. Ultimately, the Teacher suggests a shift in perspective, advocating for embracing the present moment as the true destination of happiness, challenging the listeners to release the hostage of happiness held within the pursuit of future solutions to life's challenges.

Taking Responsibility For Our Own Joy
In this introspection, the Teacher explores the collective human quest for something intangible—be it peace, happiness, or contentment. The conventional paths society often prescribes are challenged, emphasizing that the sought-after state lies within, not in external achievements or others' actions. The lesson calls for self-awareness and a proactive approach, urging listeners to voice their commitment to end suffering and take concrete steps toward a fulfilling life. By sharing personal experiences of transformation through conscious decisions, the Teacher advocates for breaking free from habitual, automated living, emphasizing the power of choice in shaping a life of joy. The lesson dismantles the notion of waiting for external forces to bring happiness, compelling individuals to recognize their role as architects of their own well-being.
