Exploring Kabir's Poetic Wisdom: Reviewing the Past and Charting the Future
This session provides an overview of the previous two courses in the series and outlines the main ideas that will be explored in this course. It covers Kabir's unique understanding of God, the importance of putting knowledge into practice, the dualistic nature of the world, and the need to be mindful of our motives. This session also introduces the two fundamental questions that will be explored in this course: why do we need spirituality in our lives and what is the nature of the nondual Self or god.

Being Human: The Uncertainty
In this session, we start to explore Kabir's poetry to understand why we need spirituality. This sets the foundation for future sessions. Kabir delves into the human condition of the uncertainty inherent in our lives and recognize it as a natural part of the human experience.
Lezione 3
Reflecting on the Transience of Life & Inevitability of Death
In this session, we explore Kabir's doha on the theme of death. Through his poem, Kabir reminds us of the transitory nature of life and how death is an inevitable part of the human experience. We will contemplate the impermanence of everything in life and how it manifests in our own lives. The session includes a recitation of the poem and guided contemplation.

The Material Pursuit
In this session, we will explore Kabir's poem on impermanence and the transitory nature of material possessions. We will reflect on the Doha, contemplating our own relationship with material possessions and the motivations behind our attachment to them. We will conclude the session with a reflection on the insights gained. And we will see the process of developing an attitude of detachment towards the false and the awareness of what truly matters, So that we can bring more peace and presence to our daily lives.
Lezione 5
The People and Position
In this lesson, we will explore the theme of impermanence from the perspective of relationships and positions. Through reflecting on a Doha by Kabir, we will contemplate the fact that everyone and everything is subject to change and eventually has to be left behind, including our relationships and positions in life. We will take a moment to reflect on the people in our lives who are important to us and consider how we are living our lives in alignment with this truth that eventually everything is just passing.
Lezione 6
The Relationships
In this session, we will reflect on the impermanence of human relationships through a Doha by Kabir. We will start with a preparation exercise to become present and then recite the poem. After that, we will reflect on the relationships in our lives and contemplate on impermanence. Finally, we will conclude by taking a few deep breaths and reflecting on our experience.

In this session, we delve into Kabir's doha that challenges our notions of ownership and control. We reflect on the tendency to claim ownership over our lives and possessions, only to realize that everything is transient and ultimately belongs to the Divine. Through contemplation, we question the true nature of ownership and explore the idea of experiencing and appreciating rather than possessing. By the end of the session, we aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of the impermanence of ownership and embrace the flow of the Divine in our lives.

In this session, we delve into the theme of impermanence through another thought-provoking Doha by Kabir. We explore the experience of aging and the challenges that accompany it. Through reflection and contemplation, we contemplate our feelings about growing older, the physical changes that come with aging, and the connection between impermanence and the aging process. We conclude with a mindfulness practice to embrace the present moment.
