Lezione 1
The Revelation Of Samvega
We start our journey 2600 years ago, the origins of Siddhartha Gautama’s life, his youth, and where it all began.
In part 1 we introduce you to the forgotten teaching of Samvega, how it changed everything for this young man, and how it would change the world forever. Gautama gave up everything to have his questions truly answered. What were they? Let’s find out as we join him at the beginning of his story.
Lezione 2
The 8 Winds
In our second session we follow the path of Gautama’s transformation and his entrance in the life of an ascetic. This is really when his ‘training’ began, where he lived the life of a wanderer, a holy man, and what that brought him. You’ll learn how he formulated the initial tools he needed to eventually attain enlightenment, including structure and ethic, and how you can use the discipline of ethic to solidify and root yourself in your own life existence.
Lezione 3
Becoming One's Own Master
Part 3 takes you further into the Buddha's life story and sheds light on the power of taking responsibility for one's own path. One’s heart, one’s intuition, one’s inner voice being the most important of all.
Siddhartha Gautama took himself through a deep process where everything was a learning experience - all towards the greater good, the greater good of the whole, of society. Realising the freedom of mankind from within. Buddhism is solutionism. Learn how Siddhartha created that.
Lezione 4
Seeing The Enlightenment
In session 4 we will look at one of the most profoundly expansive concepts that originated from this young man's journey. A way for you to perceive your life in a fresh, new, and liberating way. A method for you to engage with life with vigour; how you can see clearly what is actually in front of you in each and every moment.
Lezione 5
There Is More Than Just One World
Buddhism is about ‘how’ you actually exist. Part 5 continues Siddhartha's story opening up a new way of thinking about the choices you make, the evolution you walk. Here we relate to the inner fears the Buddha had in sharing his teachings with others.
You will go inside the complex network of structures that is you to find a way of seeing action and reaction in a marvelously simple way. This is not about categorising human behaviour. This is about using how you are feeling.
Lezione 6
Path Of The Bodhisattva
What is a Bodhisattva? What does is mean to live the life of a Bodhisattva? In this session we will learn of the importance of the dignity of life - your life - in every single moment. As you will see, it’s an ethic that we can all live by in a way that creates deep value for those around us, and of course, for ourselves.
Lezione 7
Significance Of The Sangha
There is a lot that is not known about the original buddha, Gautama. Part 7 takes you into the application of his wisdom in the development of community and the importance of organisation in Buddhist culture. We open up the theme of interdependence in Buddhist thought and why it’s the hidden key to so much that is lacking in modern society.
Lezione 8
The Significance Of Death And, Therefore, Life
In the final part of our series we will take you to the one fundamental core principles that will bring you to purposeful living: why the Buddha died and what happened in the moment of his death, and its core life lessons.
When you combine meaning with mission, it makes for a rich way of living. Gautama Buddha was a seeker of both. In this part, you’ll open the door to that for yourself.
