Cosa imparerai
Chronic hyperventilation often develops slowly and quietly. It’s not always dramatic, but it can deeply affect how you feel in your body and in your daily life. You may experience dizziness, tingling in the hands or lips, or tightness in the chest. Very often, these symptoms are not caused by chronic hyperventilation. In this course, you’ll learn how to gently restore your natural breathing and relief hyperventilation. Through simple, accessible breathing techniques inspired by pranayama, you’ll begin to slow your breath down and bring it back into balance. These practices are not meant to replace your everyday breathing, but to train your system so your body can relearn how to breathe calmly on its own. The focus is on awareness, repetition, and softness. By practicing the exercises once or twice a day, you allow your nervous system to gradually settle and your breathing to become more stable and controlled, even in moments of stress. As a sound healer, I’ve added singing bowl recordings to the breathing exercises to help deepen relaxation and support nervous system regulation. For the best experience, I recommend practicing with headphones. This course guides you step by step: - Understanding what chronic hyperventilation is and how to recognize it - Learning two breathing techniques to calm and regulate your breath so you will re-learn how to breathe - Integrating these practices into daily life through simple repetition This is a calm and grounded approach, not about forcing change, but about allowing your body to return to a way of breathing that is natural. Lezione 1
Understanding Hyperventilation & The Breath
In this first module, you will build awareness around your breathing. You’ll learn what chronic hyperventilation really is, how it develops, and how to recognize its signals in your body. The focus is not on changing your breath yet, but on understanding it. By learning how stress, unconscious breathing habits, and overbreathing affect your nervous system, you lay the foundation for restoring a calmer, more natural breath through practice and repetition.
Lezione 2
Gentle Breathing Exercise
In this module, you’ll practice your first breathing technique to calm the nervous system and bring more awareness to your breath. By lengthening the exhalation, you begin to signal safety and relaxation to the body. This practice is simple, accessible, and meant to be repeated daily, allowing your natural breathing to gradually become calmer and more balanced over time.
Lezione 3
Deepening Breath Awareness & Control
In this module, you’ll deepen the breathing practice introduced earlier by working with a structured breathing rhythm that integrates gentle pauses. This exercise supports greater regulation of the nervous system and helps strengthen trust in your breath. You’re encouraged to approach the practice with patience and repetition to guide your natural breathing toward more stability and ease.
Lezione 4
Integrating Calm Breathing Into Daily Life
In this final module, you’ll bring everything together and learn how to continue working with the breathing practices in your daily life. The focus is on repetition and consistency rather than effort or control. You’ll be guided on how often to practice, how to choose the right exercise for you, and how to return to your breath during moments of tension or stress. This module supports the transition from conscious practice to a calmer, more natural breathing pattern over time.
