This intention-setting meditation can be done anytime, not just on a New Moon. I invite you to write down your intentions then to find some time to sit in stillness with your intention in mind as I guide you on this meditation.

So finding a comfortable seat,

Feeling the ground beneath you,

Closing down the eyes and begin to draw your attention to the breath.

Allowing it to deepen with every inhale and every exhale.

Feeling the belly rise with every inhale and fall with every exhale.

As you begin to deepen the breath start to really notice how it feels as it travels through the body.

Feeling the body expand on the inhale and then contract on the exhale.

Feeling the belly ribs chest rise and expand on the inhale and the chest ribs belly fall and contract on the exhale.

Noticing any sensations in the body,

Just acknowledging the sensations without attachment,

Without judgment.

Noticing any sounds or distractions in the external environment,

Accepting them without judgment.

Just keep coming back to the breath.

Noticing any thoughts that arise,

Allowing them to be there without attachment,

Without judgment.

Now bringing to mind your intention.

Picture your intention in your mind's eye.

Picture it as though it is happening right now and you are already there.

Who is there?

What does it look like?

What does it smell like?

Can you touch it?

How does it make you feel?

Does it make you feel strong,

Powerful?

Maybe it makes you feel loved,

Loving,

Kind,

Safe.

Perhaps it makes you feel connected.

Really feel your intention in this present moment.

Now imagine a white light of energy and enveloping your vision,

Your intention like a cloud.

Feel its magic and power,

Your magic and power.

Now visualize sending that cloud of energy with your intention in it out into the universe.

Know that your vision is safe in the hands of the universe and your angels and guides.

Trust that it is.

Trust that it already exists and that it is safe to believe that it already exists.

Now slowly bringing your attention back to the breath.

Just breathing.

Just breathing.

Feel your body's connection to Mother Earth beneath you.

And slowly,

Gently,

When you're ready,

Blinking open the eyes.

Arriving back to the body.

Arriving back to the room.

Arriving back into the present moment.
