1ye DRUNK Hello and welcome to the first ever episode of Practically Spiritual.
So this episode is going to be a little introduction to what this podcast is all about and who I am.
So let's start with a little bit about me.
My name is Jennifer Wallace and I run Into the Wild Healing,
A holistic and spiritual wellness service.
I'm a Reiki practitioner,
Soon to be Reiki master and I'm also a qualified meditation teacher.
Now before the pandemic hit I was actively pursuing a freelance career in music and culture journalism.
I've traveled all around the world to go to festivals and interview artists and I've also DJ'd and have played in various venues around London.
I still host a regular radio show on nettle radio where I play lots of lovely records of the disco,
Funk and soul variety and chat about them and anything else that comes to mind.
I just love exploring different cultures and meeting interesting people and hearing and telling their stories.
Of course Covid kind of put a stop to all that and it led to me rethinking,
As I'm sure it did many of you,
What was important to me.
What I wanted my life to look like.
It didn't take me long to realize that I should up my game with my Reiki practice,
Something that I was already attuned in and I also undertook a meditation teacher course.
I am still writing but now on subjects in the mental health and wellness sphere and I'm also studying diet and nutrition.
This is kind of where the idea for the podcast came from.
I am a hugely spiritual person but I am also a very practical person and I love science and nature.
I believe that all of these things can help her mental health and wellness and I truly believe that they can and do work together and complement each other.
I think it's so important to combine the spiritual with the scientific and practical to create a truly holistic and well-rounded approach to our well-being.
So throughout this podcast series I will be inviting guests on for a chat who are professionals or who have experience in these fields to discuss what they do and how they help others or have been helped themselves.
I feel pretty confident that there will be some interesting and topical discussions around subjects that matter to you and impact you and hopefully you'll be able to get some sound advice and guidance around health,
Mental health and well-being.
So yes I am very much looking forward to bringing you the next episode.
I'll be announcing the guests on my socials very soon so do make sure you're following at Practically Spiritual Pod and at Into the Wild Healing.
If you have any questions or suggestions do feel free to slide into my DMs on either of those accounts.
Have a lovely day or night wherever you are and sending you so much love.
