Welcome to this grounding meditation.
You can do this meditation at any time of the day,
Whenever you feel tired,
Stressed,
Overwhelmed or whenever you feel that you need some grounding.
So please lay down on the floor and take a few deep breaths to release any tensions you might have in your body and in your mind.
And as you continue inhaling and exhaling through the mouth,
Imagine that with each exhalation you can let go a little bit more.
Continue breathing deeply and with each exhale you feel lighter,
You feel more connected to the Earth.
Now focus on all the parts of your body that are in connection with the Earth,
Feeling the connection of the floor with your skin,
Feeling the connection with the Earth energy.
And imagine that Mother Earth is like a loving mother who is holding you into her arms and you can really surrender and let go of any heaviness,
Of any tension,
Of any thoughts and enjoy this embrace of the Earth energy that is always there for you to hold you,
To nurture you,
To bring your attention to what really counts on this Earth,
To the here and now.
And now bring your attention to your feet and imagine that there are roots that are growing from your feet and they are growing down into the Earth,
Reaching the center of the Earth,
Going through all the layers and deepening your connection with the Earth energy.
And with each exhalation you're going to let go even further into the Earth through your roots.
Take a few more deep breaths with the exhalation with a sigh and with each exhalation you let go of one more layer,
With each exhalation you connect deeper to the Earth.
And now imagine that this beautiful Earth energy is coming back to you,
It's bringing you lightness,
Relaxation,
Groundedness.
So imagine there's the light that comes through your roots into your body,
Starting with your feet.
Your feet are completely relaxed and taking all the pleasure of this beautiful Earth energy.
And now this energy is coming up towards your knees,
Further up towards your thighs.
And as it comes up you feel that you can completely surrender and relax even more.
You can let go of any heaviness,
Anything that you want to release you can release it to the Earth and in return the Earth is nurturing you with her beautiful motherly energy.
So now this energy comes up to your pelvic floor,
Bringing light and release.
It comes up towards your internal organs,
Bringing space,
Bringing aliveness.
And it also goes from your sacrum up towards your spine,
Vertebra by vertebra.
And you can feel this Earth energy coming up through your spine,
Up to your chest,
Feeling your heart space,
Bringing relaxation to your shoulders,
Coming down towards your arms,
Spreading to your hands.
And then again from your shoulders it spreads on the back of your head,
Relaxing your neck,
Relaxing the back of your head,
The crown of your head.
And it goes now towards the front,
Relaxing your forehead,
Bringing an inner smile in the center of your brain,
Relaxing your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Your jaws,
Your tongue,
Relaxing your throat.
And you can feel this beautiful Earth energy pulsate in your body,
Everywhere in your body.
Your whole body is relaxed,
Grounded,
Connected to the Earth.
You're fully present to each sensation,
You're fully present to yourself,
And you're safe.
You're safe in your body.
You're safe to feel anything you want to feel as your breath is guiding you and is allowing you to release,
To let go into the Earth.
You are the master of your own experience.
You are your safe place,
And you can come back to yourself any time you want.
Feel this relaxation and this aliveness at the same time in your body.
Feel the connection with the Earth,
And feel the connection to yourself,
The connection to your heart,
And to your soul.
Stay here,
Enjoy the pleasure of this connection.
Feel the energy running through your body.
Feel the safety of the Earth's embrace.
Now take a deeper inhale,
And start gently bringing movement to your body.
You can start moving your fingers,
Start moving your toes,
And then slowly bring movement to your feet,
To your hands.
Take a good stretch.
You can bring the arms up on the back of your head,
On the floor.
And now make some intuitive movements that are just good,
That feel good to your body.
You can bring your knees towards you,
And make some circles with your knees to massage your lower back.
You can make some twists,
Letting your knees drop on one side,
And then the other side while maintaining your back on the floor.
And once you feel ready,
You can roll on one side,
And take a few more deep breaths there.
A few more breaths to feel that beautiful grounding connection with the Earth,
That beautiful connection with your body and with your soul,
And that sense of safety,
Of deep safety in your body.
And when you're ready,
You can push on your hands and come to a seated position.
Place one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly,
And take a few more deep breaths of gratitude towards yourself,
Gratitude for taking this time for yourself,
For your devotion to yourself.
And slowly open your eyes.
