Some mornings you wake up and life just feels far away.
It's not that you're sad exactly or anxious exactly.
You're just dispersed and scattered.
Like you're here,
But not quite all the way here.
So the body begins moving,
The mind begins planning.
And the days begin their natural flow.
And somewhere along the way,
Without you even noticing,
The quiet conversation between you and your life became very faint.
And it's not because life has stopped speaking to you.
And it's not because you've disappeared.
But because there are many times when we become so busy surviving that we forget how to receive.
So this morning we're practicing becoming available to life again.
So make sure that you're comfortable in your seat.
That the spine feels tall but relaxed.
The hands are resting gently in your lap.
And the eyes are closed if you haven't closed them already.
Before we begin,
Feel the support of the earth beneath you.
And really feel into it.
It's solid,
Steady,
And ancient.
It's been here long before this morning.
Long before whatever scattered you.
Long before any of it.
And above you.
The light of the sun.
Feel that it's steady and consistent.
And it rises each morning without hesitation.
The earth below.
The light above.
And you are held between them.
Breathe into this place.
And allow your body to receive this energy of being grounded,
Protected,
And supported.
Take a breath in.
And exhale releasing everything that scattered you.
Breathing in,
Feeling the energy of the earth rising up through you.
And exhale seeing dark smoke leaving the body.
Breathing in the warmth of the sun descending into you.
And exhaling dark smoke,
The fog,
The heaviness.
Breathing in clean and stable and grounded.
And then exhaling whatever isn't yours like black smoke releasing now.
Breathing in the earth and light filling you up.
And exhaling black smoke,
The scatter dissolving.
Breathing in all the way back into yourself.
And breathing out black smoke,
All that you need to release.
And continue now at your own pace.
Inhaling what supports you.
And exhaling what clouds you.
Let the breath return to its natural rhythm now.
And just notice what's here for you now.
Perhaps something has shifted.
How does that feel in the body?
Where do you feel the most settled right now?
This is you underneath all of it.
Still here.
Always here.
And from this place,
What feels possible for you today.
Trust what comes and allow yourself to bring this with you today.
Let's take one last breath together,
Inhaling clean,
Stable,
And yours.
And exhaling,
Letting go.
Bring your hands to the center of the chest and gently bow your chin.
And just feel that you're not far away.
You are here.
You've always been here.
Sending you all the love.
I wish you a beautiful day.
