It stops your thoughts whirling and calms you down.
It's a healthy mindset rather than the stressed and frustrated feeling of impatience.
You are relaxed when you practice patience and sometimes it feels like a practice,

Sometimes you're so caught up in things you need a life raft to save you from drowning in stress,
Worry and frustration.
I become a bit of a grizzly bear when I'm tired.
That's when I notice my impatience coming out to play.
