Hey.

Hi.

I thought I'd come and keep you company tonight.

Nothing planned,

And there's nothing that you need to do.

I'm not here to guide you through anything.

I've just got time.

And I noticed you might need someone around.

You don't have to answer that.

Honestly,

You don't even have to be listening properly.

If you drift off,

That's fine.

If you miss bits of what I say,

Even better.

I'm not really asking for your attention.

I'm just here.

How are you actually doing?

You seem a bit tired.

Not like,

Dramatic tired.

Just,

I can tell you've been keeping things moving for a while.

So that by the time you get into bed,

Your body may be resting,

But some part of you is still on standby.

Especially when you've been doing a lot without making a fuss about it.

I don't know all the details of your life,

Obviously,

But I can feel the effort of you.

The way you hold things together,

And timing and reactions,

So things don't get complicated.

It's a lot to carry,

And I hope you give yourself credit in some way.

So,

I just want to say,

I see that.

So if your body does still feel a little switched on,

A little alert,

Kind of ready for something when you wish you could be sleeping,

It doesn't mean you're failing to relax.

Sometimes it's just that your system hasn't stood down yet.

There's no rush.

Tonight,

You reached for this audio.

Now you can thank yourself for that,

For looking for resources.

But don't worry,

I'm not trying to calm you down,

Or change anything,

Or even make you breathe a certain way.

While things settle down in their own time,

You can let your body lie however it wants.

You don't need to arrange yourself.

Does?

That's fine too.

You don't need to check in with every sensation,

Or monitor your breathing.

You've done enough monitoring for one day.

I keep thinking how rarely men get spoken to like this.

Just spoken to.

Spoken to as this person who's been doing their best,

Inside a lot of unspoken expectations.

Even when that's not how it feels on the inside.

So,

If there's a part of you that feels a bit unnoticed lately,

Or quietly unappreciated,

Way longer than anyone has realized,

You don't need to push that away.

You don't need to dwell on it,

But I want to let you know that it's enough to let yourself be here,

With someone who isn't asking you to be anything.

There is no agenda tonight.

I'm not asking you to open up.

I'm not waiting on anything from you.

I'm just here because I wanted to be.

And because sometimes that lets the body soften a little.

If your mind drifts back too early,

Or you have an idea,

Or something you didn't say,

You don't need to finish that story tonight.

Nothing about today needs to be solved,

While there will be time for thinking later,

If that's even necessary.

You can let someone else stay present for a bit.

You don't have to be anything in particular right now.

And you don't have to be good at resting either,

By the way.

Most people aren't.

And if something in you sighs at that,

You're allowed to rest.

Even if things don't feel finished.

You're allowed to sleep.

Even if a part of you feels awake.

You're allowed to stop for the time being.

You're human.

Even if you don't quite believe that.

You don't need to prove anything.

I'm going to stay here with you regardless.

You don't need to listen for my voice.

And when my words thin out,

That doesn't mean you're alone.

There's nothing left for you to do tonight.

And you don't need to be doing anything.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

Nothing's changed.

You're fine right where you are.

You can keep on letting go.

You've done enough for today.

And you don't need to be doing anything.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

Nothing's changed.

You can keep on letting go.

Half asleep state.

You've done enough for today.

There's nothing else to take care of.

And you don't need to be doing anything.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

Nothing's changed.

You can keep on letting go.

You've done enough for today.

There's nothing else to take care of.

And you don't need to be doing anything.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

Nothing's changed.

You can keep on letting go.

You've done enough for today.

And you don't need to be doing anything.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

Nothing's changed.

You're fine right where you are.

You can keep on letting go.

You've done enough for today.

There's nothing else to take care of right now.

I'm still here.

You're fine right where you are.

You can keep on letting go.

There's nothing else to take care of.

And you don't need to be doing anything.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

Nothing's changed.

You're fine right where you are.

You can keep on letting go.

Letting go.

You've done enough for today.

There's nothing else to take care of right now.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

Nothing's changed.

You're fine right where you are.

You can keep on letting go.

You've done enough for today.

There's nothing else to take care of.

And you don't need to be doing anything.

Just let yourself continue to rest.

I just love this session! Nothing to do and no where to be described it perfectly. Just to be in the moment and knowing some one is there
