Some people may know this as the Belly Heart Breath, but it is different in its refined awareness and approach. Continued practice and exploration benefits include learning to settle the mind, developing insight, clarity, and one pointed mind and focus, samadhi, or concentration. Awareness of the breath and natural body rhythms is a byproduct, of this practice, not a focus which makes it very unique. Resulting in more effortless, natural awareness.
