What is abundance?
It is the opposite of scarcity,
But we can often get caught up in having abundance with too many things to do.
Or an abundance of critical thoughts of ourselves,
And yet have at the same time scarcity of joy in understanding how there is an abundance of good and beneficial things in our lives.
Use this time to discover what your abundance truly is.
Your abundance of joy.
Your abundance of warmth.
Your abundance of happiness,
No matter how many or how few things you own.
Because abundance is not found in the material world.
It is cultivated and found from within.
Take time now to harvest that inner abundance with yourself.
Harvest it for a second time,
A third time,
As many times as you need to.
So you can feel full with all the joy and happiness you truly possess deep within yourself.
Take a moment to get settled,
Either sitting or laying down in a comfortable position.
Pause if you need to,
To find more support for your body.
And take a breath in and relax.
Release with an exhale.
Take another breath in.
Relax with a sigh.
Take one more breath.
Exhale.
Continue to breathe in a comfortable and a natural way for you.
Place your hands on your belly.
Or your heart space.
Or one on each.
Feel the gentle rise and fall as you breathe in.
And out.
Bring your awareness to the placement of your hands.
Focus on your core and center.
Your heart.
Be in the presence of your heart.
Acknowledge the love you carry.
Inside,
For yourself.
And for all beings.
As you focus more internally.
Bring your attention.
To reconnect with and harvest.
Your own personal abundance.
How and where in your life.
You have abundance.
Again,
This is not material possessions.
Focus on what you cannot physically touch.
Focus on the abundance of joy.
What brings you joy?
Where you feel loved.
How you express your love.
Focus on that abundance.
If you haven't already,
Make your way back along whatever path or trail you may have gone out on to discover and harvest your abundance.
Become more aware of your breath.
Focus on the rise and fall of your belly and chest.
Bring your attention to the noises in the room around you.
Outside.
Start to gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Maybe squeeze them in and out.
As you become more aware of your physical body.
Pat your body down.
Become aware of the textures and feels of the physical world.
Of your own body.
Take some deeper breaths.
And open your eyes when you are ready.
As you begin to move about,
Remember your personal abundance.
As you continue throughout your day and in the coming days.
