Hi,
Welcome to this grounding meditation.
Start by laying down if possible.
Make sure you're at the most comfortable place.
Let your spine decompress.
Let your arms just lay on the floor next to your body.
Now take a long,
Deep inhale and then exhale through your mouth.
Let's do it again.
So inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
And last time,
You inhale and then you exhale and really soften into the earth.
Try to really arrive at a conscious space of purposefully letting the body go.
In whatever shape you're in,
Just let the body go.
Let the back of the head rest heavily on the floor.
Really notice how your shoulders are being drawn towards the earth.
Feel your zit bones rooting down.
Relax your legs.
Relax your feet.
Notice your breath.
And then just scan your body for a few moments.
See if there's a way to soften a little bit more.
There's always an area where you can soften a bit more.
So just pay attention and relax the body completely.
Relax your face.
Relax your jaw,
Your fingertips,
Your breath.
Really let your heart soften through the body.
Feel your heart being drawn to the back of your body.
Maybe you'll notice while relaxing more and breathing calmly that you'll find this alignment with the body and the breath.
You arrive at this place,
This space where you can commit to complete stillness.
Now try to be completely still,
Even if you feel like you need to move.
Even if there's an itch,
Don't move.
Just commit to being still.
Just commit to letting a body surrender,
Completely surrender to earth.
When actually the earth is holding you,
The earth has your back right now.
You are supported.
You really don't have to surrender to earth because you are always supported.
The earth always has your back.
This never changes.
You are always supported from Mother Earth,
From spirit,
From creation,
From God,
Whatever you want to call it.
It's always there.
Even when your days are incredibly rough,
Even when you feel like you're the loneliest person in the world,
You are still supported.
Someone has your back,
Always.
Always,
Earth.
So let this feeling of being held fill your entire being.
It's OK.
It's safe.
It's safe to let go.
It's safe to put your guard down,
Put all the weight down.
Let the feeling of being held fill your entire being.
Now deepen your breath.
And let this moment unfold through you.
Put your weight down.
Put your weight down.
Someone's holding you.
You're safe.
Now take the deepest breath you've ever taken today.
Let it fill your lungs completely.
And then sigh it out through your mouth.
Place both hands,
Palms facing down on your heart.
Now take another deep breath.
And let gratitude fill your body.
Exhale.
Last breath.
Inhale and let love fill up your entire body.
Now you exhale.
Maybe smile.
Be thankful for your breath.
Be thankful for your heart,
For that beautiful body of yours,
And for Earth,
Who always has your back,
Always holding you.
And now you let go.
