Welcome to today's meditation and cacao ceremony and me time.
So what is me time?
Well me time is pretty much a time that is your own.
That is a time to heal the mind,
Body and soul.
And I welcome you all today as you give yourself permission to have some me time.
Okay now join me in a nice long in breath.
Hold,
Release,
In,
Release.
Be mindful that when you inhale you experience the flow,
The coolness of the air entering your nostrils and in the hold experience the stillness,
The stillness where you can claim a space of your own.
And the exhale,
Breathe out that warm air,
The toxic feelings that you've been holding over a lifetime,
Over years,
Over months and over days.
And imagine this,
You are in a room,
Is an octagonal room,
There is space around you.
You are in the coziest armchair,
It's your sinking into it.
You have this blanket on top of you,
You have your favourite slippers on.
And in front of you drops this shaft like a teardrop,
It ends in a teardrop and within it is a fireplace right in front of you.
You are mesmerised by the flickering of the flame,
You feel it's warmth and around your room covering each wall of that octagonal space is a painting.
And all the paintings together are the series,
The cathedral series of Monet,
The painter of light,
The painter of the cathedral in different times,
Different days,
Different seasons,
Sunset,
Sunrise,
Early morning,
Mid-morning,
Late morning,
Midday,
Early afternoon,
Mid-afternoon,
Late afternoon and coming up to sunset where you look up and it's like an atrium.
And as the sun sets you see pinks,
Orange,
Red,
The calming colours of light,
The painter of light in your heart,
The colours fade as the darkness rolls over and slowly they approach you,
The stars,
They come out to greet you,
You drink them in,
Mesmerised by their hello,
Their welcome,
Your body is starting to relax and as you look up into the sky,
The blue black sky,
Diamond by these splashes of light,
You have a compulsion,
A willingness to enter into that space to be one of the community of stars.
The panels of this glass ceiling starts to slide back so you see through the beams that connect to a point and they slowly fade away and you start to feel your body disappear and you float up to space,
You see the moonlight hitting the tops of the trees,
The textures of them from white light to the dark tones and as you move up you feel your spirit brushed by the trees,
The nature,
Even in darkness mother nature glows,
You go further,
Further up into the atmosphere,
Into the stars,
There you see the Milky Way,
The flow of the Big Star,
You will pull toward it,
You begin at the top and you start to slide down in the river,
The river these stars,
Each star holds you up passing you to the next and the next so you feel like you are in a river flowing,
Flowing with the universe and as you do you return to the sensation of your body and you start feeling this life force which is forever with you any time of the day,
It penetrates your crown,
You feel it and this energy,
This source of life washes through your mind,
The thoughts that have caused you pain,
The thoughts that have caused you humiliation and fear,
They are being flushed out as they move down your face and your jaw joints where your mouth slowly starts to drop,
This is where you keep your tension and it's being released,
This river flows further down your neck,
Inside and out,
Across your shoulders,
Down your arms,
It shoots back up from the colder sex of your fingers,
Up your arms,
Across your chest,
Slowly searching,
It drops down your back as well,
Like a waterfall skipping down each vertebra,
Each splash of the vertebrae branches across your back,
You feel those notches starting to melt away as this river works at it,
Releasing the tension and these knots like a net,
They just drop,
Drop into that ocean of stars,
Recycled by mother nature and it drips down the river of life down to your abdominals,
You feel them in your solar plex clearing down your chakra,
Your buttocks,
The back of your legs,
The front of your legs,
Your knees,
Down to your calf muscles,
That's where you hold your tension,
Where you hold your body up day after day and it moves down the front of your legs and into your feet,
You feel the feet being massaged,
These little stars under your feet kissing you,
You feel every single point in your feet that holds that tension,
The weight of your heaviness,
The heaviness of your heart and it's released through your toes back into the river of stars where it is recycled,
Turned into powerful positive life energy but it is still searching around your chest for your heart,
It finds it,
It cups it,
You can feel your heart expanding,
Its power,
Its energy is being transferred into your heart and it clears your heart for space,
Space to be opened,
Here I invite you to pick up your cup of cacao and you hold it in your hands,
It transforms into a cup,
A cup made of those sparkling stars,
You feel the light within this cup is a plant medicine,
Of mama cacao,
When I call upon her spirit,
The spirit of nurture,
The spirit of nourishment,
The spirit of love and here I invite you to call in your support,
Ancestors,
Spirit guides,
Spirit animals,
The spirit of love and feel now the energy of mama cacao,
Cart medicine,
Searching,
Searching moves up your fingers,
Your arms,
Across your shoulders and it finds your heart meeting,
Meeting with the river of life,
Here I invite you to start drinking your plant medicine.
And as you do,
Notice,
Notice the sensation of it,
Of her moving down your throat,
Feel it spreading across your body,
Your veins,
Your cells,
Your spirit.
And as it does,
Your heart opens even more,
Ready to embrace her power.
And she asks you,
What is it that your heart desires,
What your spirit has been yearning for,
Allow this thought,
This desire,
This intention to arise,
Be courageous,
This is your space,
This is your own,
It is your heart that wants to voice,
Let it speak,
What is it that you want,
Visualise it,
Hold it,
Release it into the universe,
Into the universe,
Into the universe,
The universe that you are now bathing in,
The Milky Way,
The purity of light,
You are bathing in innocence,
In purity,
In self and now you reach the end of the Big Star,
You slide off into the darkness,
And here,
Here I invite you to go deeper,
Deeper into your heart,
The places that you've not wanted to go to,
You are held by Mother Nature,
By Mama Kukell,
By God,
By universe,
By me,
Look into those places of fear,
Of uncertainty,
Of pain,
Pain of humiliation,
Of rejection,
Of cruelty,
Give yourself permission to feel that pain in this safe place,
Let those emotions arise,
The anger,
The tears of the pain,
Let those emotions arise,
The tears of the pain,
Let those emotions arise,
The tears of the pain,
Let those emotions arise,
And now the stories,
The scenarios,
The visualisations that come with those emotions,
Release them,
They are stories and they are not your stories to own,
They are other people's stories that have,
That have penetrated your mind and convinced you that you are defined by these stories,
You are not,
You are like Monet's paintings,
You are like the scenes of light,
With the different colours and tones of the day,
Of the seasons,
Summer,
Autumn,
Winter,
Spring,
Life goes up and down,
But know,
Know that you are not defined by your ups and downs,
But you are defined by the purity of your heart,
That those stories,
You master those stories and you command them to be released,
And now acknowledge your courage,
Your empowerment,
Your self,
And as you do,
You swim up to the surface,
The surface to your heart,
Return back to your intention,
Knowing that you have the power,
The power for it to come into being,
You have allowed,
Permitted the intention to be released out into the universe,
To be taken,
You don't know where,
But you know it will reach your destination,
It is so,
Take a moment to just be,
To be without thought,
Notice your stillness,
Notice how you have allowed your body to just drop,
Shoulders down,
Jaw down,
Your chest sinking,
Your body just relaxing,
You stay in this space of your own,
And now,
Now it's time to return home,
Go back into your chair,
You are now in your chair,
You notice the sensation of the seat of your chair,
Or the floor,
Or the cushion,
You notice that you have hands,
And there's movement in these fingers,
You notice your toes,
You feel the flow of movement there too,
And your shoulders as you rotate them,
Your neck as you stretch them out,
Get out,
And you slowly can feel your eyelids starting to lift,
And I certainly hope you enjoyed that time just for you,
