I am the moon,

The light that glows like honey and cools the night.

I am the breeze through the trees,

My touch felt with a gentle kiss across your skin.

I am the damp earth aching for your feet.

Follow me and give me what you no longer need.

I am the mighty ocean,

Waves that crash boulders into rocks and streams that smooth stones into glass.

I am the tender creature so often feared and rejected.

If you only knew all that I have and all that I do.

I am the raging fire consuming all within my path.

And I shall scorch all that is rotten to build anew.

I am not only the stars above your head,

But the blanket of sky and darkness that holds them.

I am maiden,

Mother,

And crone.

The babe who coos,

The mother who sings,

The old woman who weeps.

I am the merchant,

The emperor,

The servant.

I hold legacies in my fingertips,

Dangling them at my will.

I am your stories,

I am your legends.

I am your almighty and the one who is sometimes left behind.

Beyond the earth,

I am the who holds it,

For it sits within my womb.

I am mother nature,

Even more she who drives it.

I am the humble creator and the merciless destroyer.

My essence is the blood flow of the universe.

I am the cosmic creator of all that is.

I am the weaver of all existence,

All of its inhabitants,

My magical thread.

Imperfectly made of different fabrics and textures.

The colors,

Iridescent and alive.

It's that thread that is woven into the beauty of yesterday,

Today,

And tomorrow.

Not even I know what is to come.

I am time,

I am the past.

I tenderly watch you in the present,

I am your future.

How I would love for you to know who I am,

To see me,

To feel me.

I am the magnificence of the universe.

I am the simplicity of a raindrop.

I am expansive,

I am everything.

I am you.
