So this month,
I'll be sharing a meditation that I hope you can use to create your intentions for the month.
The New Moon in Leo represents a time of creativity,
Self-expression,
And romance which can lead to another expression of creativity.
And of course being that courageous lion who is leading their pride in their own unique way.
So I share with you a meditation for the New Moon in Leo on July 28,
2022.
And if you are using this meditation to set intentions,
It is usually recommended that you set your intentions on the first 48 hours after the New Moon,
Which begins at 1.
55 Eastern Time in the United States.
So let's get started.
Just take some time to bring yourself to a comfortable seated position,
Preferably.
Do whatever you need to do to get settled,
Finding that spot that you can be comfortable in for a while.
And once you are settled,
Begin to focus your awareness on your breath.
Feel your inhales and your exhales through your nostrils.
You may notice your belly filling with your inhales and emptying as you exhale.
Your chest may rise and fall as you breathe.
Now imagine a light around your heart.
Allow this light to travel down your spine,
All the way down past your sit bones into the earth.
You may imagine or visualize the light grounding you down into the earth as if you were a tree sprouting roots as deep into the earth towards the core.
And as this light goes towards the core,
You may visualize or imagine that core as an iron rod.
Or maybe you see crystals,
Something in the center that you can anchor to.
Now wrap your cord of light around that iron rod or crystal or whatever you envisioned.
And once it's nice and secure,
That cord travels back towards the surface of the earth,
Entering through your sit bones,
Going up where your pelvis meets the sacrum and up your spine towards the crown of your skull.
And that light goes out towards the heavens.
And you may feel the earth's energy traveling up that cord of light throughout your spine to the crown of your head.
Now visualize or feel a pure white light or golden light descending from above through the crown of your head and showering you down your spine.
And the light from the earth and the heavens illuminate your body and meet in your heart center.
This light illuminates your heart center,
Radiating in all directions around you for at least three feet.
Just being engulfed in this light.
And you may visualize,
Feel or experience the radiation of light coming from your heart.
And you may connect fully with your illuminated heart,
Accessing your own divine wisdom and guidance.
This new moon is in the sign of Leo,
Which represents creativity and has the warmth of the sun,
The generous light giver for our planet.
Utilizing this time to set intentions for this lunar cycle.
Ask your divine wisdom for ways that you can increase creativity in your life.
Are there creative projects that you would like to explore?
What brings you light?
What gifts can you share with the world that is your unique expression of leadership?
And your talents?
What is your special contribution?
And how can you utilize your creativity and your gifts for your personal growth?
And what ways can you contribute to our collective growth?
And as the inspiration comes to you,
When you are finished with this meditation,
You may choose to write down the guidance and utilize it to set intentions for this new moon cycle.
As you bring your awareness back to your heart center,
Fill your heart full with the radiant light of the sun.
And you may bring your awareness to someone who you know may benefit from the radiant light and love that is filling your heart.
Take a moment to share this light and love with them.
Accompanied with any well wishes and intentions for them.
You may also choose to share this light and love with a geographical location that you feel compelled to share this radiant energy with.
Like a city,
A state,
A country,
Or with the entire world.
Now envision the light wrapping whoever or wherever you choose completely.
And this light increases their vitality,
Their light,
And their love.
And when you're ready,
You can thank them for receiving what you had to share.
Bringing your awareness back into your heart.
You may give it a smile for all the beautiful work you've just done together.
Now bring your awareness back into your body.
Feeling your sitz bones connecting to the ground below you.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes wide awake,
Ready for the rest of your day.
