Begin to notice your breath.
Feel the inhalation and the exhalation.
Continue noticing the breath,
The sensations of the breath,
Wherever you feel the most right now.
And as you continue to notice the breath,
I invite you to imagine that you're in the middle of a beautiful nature scene.
Begin to look around you,
Noticing trees and plants.
Feeling the warmth of the sunshine shining down on you.
Seeing the coolness of the wind on your skin.
Notice that a little bit in front of you is a tree.
This tree,
It almost feels as if it's calling to you.
Breathe as you imagine what this tree looks like.
And breathe as you begin to walk towards this tree.
Knowing something special,
Knowing that this tree is here to support and guide you.
As you get to the tree,
Take a deep breath in and really feel your body.
And take a seat right at the base of the tree.
Allow your spine to rest in line with the trunk.
And feel into your body here.
Feel into your sits bones on the ground,
Connecting with the earth.
Feel as energetic roots begin to come out from the bottom of your legs,
Your feet,
The base of your spine.
Taking guidance from the tree and allowing your energetic roots to go down into the ground,
Imagine what this would look like.
And watch the roots go deeper with each exhalation.
Imagine the roots growing wider with each exhalation as well.
And allow yourself to fully and completely connect in with the earth below you.
Feeling its support of energy,
Its nurturing,
That gentle vibration that always comes out of the ground,
Grounding you in.
Breathe as you feel your body beginning to relax.
Breathe as you notice tension in the body.
On the next exhalation,
Imagine you could just let it drop down your body,
Down the roots and into the earth.
What would that feel like if you chose to let go of some of your thoughts,
Your worries?
What would it feel like to be worry-free?
What would it feel like to be perfectly connected with the earth,
With your true essence of spirit,
With a mind that is fully present?
Imagine what your body would look like.
Breathe as you imagine how your body would feel.
Breathe as these worries,
Your stressors simply fall off of your body,
Pouring down your sides,
Down your roots and into the earth,
And allowing the wisdom of the earth to take this energy,
To transmute it and transform it into life-giving energy once again.
Breathe.
Focus on your breathing as you continue to sit connected with the earth next to this tree.
Feel the sun peeking in through the branches up above and falling on your head,
On your arms,
On your body.
Allow yourself to refill the golden energy of the sun,
Replacing any energies that you allow to fall into the earth.
Those energies that didn't serve you.
Continue breathing and feel some of the nurturing earth energy begin to come up through the roots and into your body.
Each time you inhale,
Imagine breathing up through those roots.
Feel into your body with each inhalation as your relaxation grows and grows.
Now imagine that your relaxation levels in your entire body can double.
Just like that,
What does that feel like?
Breathe.
Make the tree for its guidance,
Showing you how to put down these roots for its support along your spine.
Thank you to the sky and the earth for the supporting,
Nourishing energies.
Thank you to yourself for taking the time to give yourself this healing space.
Imagine yourself wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes.
Go ahead and physically do it right now.
Bringing your presence back into your body,
Back into the present moment.
Go ahead and sway,
Move your head,
Your shoulders,
Your torso,
Stretch,
Whatever feels good to you right now as you gently open your eyes.
