I found myself focusing a lot recently on how I feel in the present moment in comparison to the goals that I really want to achieve in life.
And I felt a lot of pressure from myself and myself only.
To not worry so much about who I am becoming.
So this message of this video for you today is a reminder to enjoy being while you are becoming.
And I think this is something that the ego will always feel really uncomfortable with.
I don't think there is no human being in existence who hasn't and doesn't have an ego.
We are all trying to reach an egoless state,
Whether we know that or not.
And there are times where I think.
.
.
Oh well,
Maybe striving for perfection to reach that egoless state is just the ego in a different format.
Ego is something that we live with.
It is something that makes us unique.
It is something that makes us really special.
So this is not going to be a talk on getting rid of the ego,
But about embracing maybe this part of it.
And the part that I want to talk about is about enjoying.
Enjoying the being aspect whilst you become who you're meant to become.
It's an invitation to take your growth and your upgrades and your expansion really seriously whilst also enjoying every aspect of your life here and now in the present moment.
Because you can have great things to work on about yourself and still be somebody worth knowing.
Worth loving and worth spending time with,
Or actually You can still work on yourself a lot and be someone that somebody else really wants to know,
Somebody else really wants to love and somebody else really wants to spend their time with.
And I mean that from the heart because your happiness deserves to have its own space and its own room.
Alongside your dreams and your ambitions and your goals.
The both of them can coexist at once,
They are absolutely allowed to,
And they have to in many respects.
So,
You can be honest with.
.
.
What needs to change,
What you want to become,
But you've got to take responsibility for your happiness and your well-being at the exact same time.
And when I say well-being,
I'm not talking about taking your vitamins,
Taking your homeopathy,
Getting through an exercise class,
Eating clean,
Being a friend.
I am talking about being well.
I'm talking about With well-being,
I'm talking about are you being,
Are you living,
Are you experiencing the present moment well?
Are you present enough in a way that balances you,
That regulates you,
That allows you to relax as well?
The invitation here is to pay attention to those conditions whilst also paying attention to the pressure that you might put on your own enjoyment and satisfaction.
I say this because there are so many of us that can say,
When I'm more confident,
When I'm more successful,
When I'm more attractive,
When I'm more sorted,
I will then be able to enjoy my life.
And then,
If you make every achievement like that conditional on another requirement,
When will you actually get to enjoy your life?
When do you actually get to enjoy it?
To enjoy what you have become.
When do you actually get to just be?
And the being part is so crucial because we have to be in order to become.
We have to go through experiences in order to move.
Into a new timeline,
A new energy,
A new identity.
You've got to let yourself feel proud.
Of something before you immediately ask yourself,
What's next?
What do I need to do?
How can I upgrade?
How can I be better?
Just simply enjoy a good day without needing it to prove anything to yourself.
Enjoy a good day without needing to.
.
.
Claim that you have reached your goalposts,
That you have made the next steps that you have worked hard on to achieve.
Some days you might not need to achieve anything.
Other days you might need to achieve a lot more.
Of course,
It's all case specific.
And give the person that you are.
Here and now with me in this present moment,
Some of the care and respect that you imagine yourself giving yourself in the future.
You might be having a bad day,
But that does not mean that you're having a bad life.
So I appreciate you for being here.
I love you so much.
Thank you for your time.
And I really do look forward to chatting with you again soon.
