Welcome to Healing Arts Collective.
I'm Shelly McLean,
A therapeutic arts healer and empowerment coach.
Begin by finding a comfortable position in your bed,
Lying down with your arms by your sides,
Or gently resting on your stomach.
Close your eyes and take a deep,
Cleansing breath in,
And now exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension.
Let's begin by bringing our awareness to the present moment.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into the bed as you focus on the rise and fall of your chest.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine a warm,
Soothing,
Violet light surrounding you,
Cocooning you in a sense of peace and comfort.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Imagine yourself in a tranquil place.
It could be a peaceful beach,
A serene forest,
Or a calming meadow.
Imagine the details,
The colors,
The sounds,
The aromas,
The gentle breeze that this dreamy place be your resting place for the night.
Now gently bring your attention to your breath.
Visualize each breath as a wave gently rolling in and out.
Inhale and the wave floats in,
Bringing relaxation and calmness.
Exhale and the wave retreats,
Carrying away any stress or restlessness.
Allow your mind to settle into the rhythm of your breath.
If thoughts arise,
Acknowledge them without judgment by labeling them as thoughts and gently guide your focus back to your breath.
Now let's use a simple mantra to deepen your relaxation.
With each inhale,
Silently say to yourself,
I am at peace.
And with each exhale,
Whisper,
I let go.
Inhale,
I am at peace.
Exhale,
I let go.
Inhale,
I am at peace.
Exhale,
I let go.
Feel these words resonating within you,
Grounding you in the present moment and inviting tranquility and deep rest.
As we approach the end of this meditation,
Know that your mind and body are ready to embrace a deep and rejuvenating sleep.
You deserve this time of rest and renewal.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Savoring the calmness that surrounds you.
As you prepare to drift off to sleep,
Carry this sense of peace with you.
Sleep well,
Dear friend.
May your dreams be peaceful and your rest be restorative.
Good night.
