Today we're going to talk about summer solstice,
The longest day of the year.
It's when there's an equal balance between light and dark,
Night and day,
And summer and winter.
It's a great time to pause and reflect on the past six months,
As well as recalibrate for the next half of the year.
When you think of summer,
What comes to mind?
For myself,
I think of warm summer nights,
Fire chats with friends,
Grilled deliciousness on any barbecue,
Cooling off with a refreshing fruity drink,
And late night dips in a moonlit lake.
There's an energy of abundance,
Socializing and sharing experiences with friends and family,
And playfulness circulating through the collective.
It's as if Mother Nature is blessing us with this atmosphere and environment to slow down and relax while you indulge in connection.
This is a perfect time to celebrate the dedication and commitment that you poured into life over the last six months,
And to play as if you're a youngster enjoying the first few weeks of summer vacation.
This time also has us recalibrating as we head into seasons of gathering,
Hunting,
And solitude.

What are you currently grateful for?
What abundance do you have already?
What can you share with others?
And where are you heading next?
We're going to take a cue from Mother Nature.
We're going to slow down,
Reflect,
And recalibrate.
