Namaste everyone,
And welcome to this beautiful guided meditation.
Which is based on the shimmering essence of the goddess Lakshmi.
Aum Shreem Maha Lakshmi Namaha This meditation will help you to connect with and bring into your being the essence and qualities of the beautiful and auspicious goddess Lakshmi.
All of the various forms of Shakti,
I.
E.
The goddess or the divine feminine energy,
Are expressions of the supreme goddess who contains everything in existence.
The great goddess Lakshmi is known as the goddess of prosperity,
The bestower of intelligence and success,
The giver of worldly enjoyment and liberation.
One way of invoking the goddess in the tantric traditions is to use mantra,
Or specifically the beej mantra or seed sound.
The beej mantra of each goddess is felt as her sonic vibration,
So an actual manifestation of her.
Now I will guide you through this meditation practice to bring the qualities of the beautiful goddess Lakshmi into your being using your breath and the beej mantra.
For the Goddess.
So find a comfortable seat with a tall spine.
Make a conscious connection with the earth.
By identifying your sit bones,
The bottom two tips of the pelvis and or the soles of your feet.
Close your eyes or find a soft gaze.
Now start to focus on the breath.
Take a full and deep breath in through the nose,
Fill the lungs and allow the belly to expand.
Pause.
And as you exhale,
Slowly sigh.
Release all of the breath.
Pause at the bottom of the exhale.
And then again,
Take another full breath in through the nose.
Pause,
Feel the fullness of the breath.
And sigh as you exhale,
Softening the shoulders,
The jaw,
The forehead,
The hips.
And one more time,
Take a full and deep breath in through the nose.
Pause at the top of the inhale and sigh slowly as you exhale.
And now find an easeful and mindful breath,
Breathing in and out of the nose.
Connect now with your heart center.
According to non-dual Shaiva Tantra tradition.
We have three main and important bindus within our subtle body.
A bindu is a point of singularity or of concentrated absolute essence.
One of these points or bindus is just below the heart center,
Which is thought to be the very center of the center of our being.
Might bring your palms together at your heart center in Anjali Mudra or maybe one palm on top of each other at the heart centre.
This helps you to focus more deeply on this space.
So now bring your full attention to the very center of your being.
The still point at the base of the heart.
And now imagine that with each breath you breathe.
You're breathing into the center of your being.
Imagine.
That the breath brings in.
The shimmering loving essence of Lakshmi.
With each inhale.
In your mind or out loud,
You may chant Lakshmi's Beej Mantra Shreem.
So just like this,
Either out loud or in your mind.
Shreem!
And as you do this,
Imagine that Lakshmi's shimmering essence.
Expands your heart center.
And then this essence expands into the whole of your being.
You might imagine.
A beautiful golden shimmering light.
And with each exhale,
You may also chant the Beej Mantra Shreem.
And imagine that Lakshmi's essence radiates out of you as well.
To affect everyone and everything around you.
And now as you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality of nourishment entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of nourishment radiating out from your center.
With your next inhale.
Feel and sense the blessings of the goddess Lakshmi entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel and sense the blessings.
Of Goddess Lakshmi.
Radiating out from the center of your being.
As you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality of radiance entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of radiance extending out from you.
As you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality of intoxicating sweetness entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of intoxicating sweetness radiating out from you.
As you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality of contentment.
Entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel this quality of contentment radiating out from your center.
As you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality of confidence.
Entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of confidence radiating out from your centre.
As you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality of abundance.
Entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of abundance radiating out from your center.
As you take your next breath in,
Feel the quality of optimism entering the centre of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of optimism radiating out from your centre.
As you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality.
Of good health.
Entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of good health radiating out from your center.
As you take your next breath in.
Feel the quality of love and compassion.
Entering the center of your being.
And as you exhale,
Feel the quality of love and compassion.
Radiating out from your center.
And as you continue to focus on breathing into and out of the very center of the center of your being.
Feel the qualities of the shimmering goddess Lakshmi expanding and growing within your centre and radiating out from you in great waves.
So feeling the qualities of nourishment.
Of blessing.
Of radiance.
Of intoxicating sweetness.
Of contentment.
And confidence.
Of abundance.
Optimism and good health.
The qualities of love.
And deep compassion.
And as you continue to breathe.
Into and out of.
The center of your being.
Repeat Lakshmi's bija mantra,
Shree.
Inhaling and exhaling.
A shimmering Essence.
Shre-e-e-el Shre-e-e-el.
Shrieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew Feel your deepest heart center.
Feel your inner peace.
Feel Ananda.
Which is bliss within your being as you are filled with the living essence of Lakshmi.
Now bring your attention back to the whole of your physical being.
Reconnecting with the ground.
Take a full breath in through the nose.
And a sigh as you exhale.
Thanking the great goddess Lakshmi.
Thanking Shakti,
The divine living energy which breathes life.
Into everything in existence.
Aum Shreem Maha Lakshmi Namaha Oh.
