Hello and good morning.

This is a brand new day that you've woken up to and we're gonna make sure that we started off right by doing this morning intention meditation together.

So let's begin.

First,

Get into a comfortable position.

There is no right or wrong way to sit or lie down to meditate.

Just make sure that you are comfortable and that your back is properly supported.

It's also important to note that during meditation sometimes our minds can wander and that's perfectly okay.

If it happens,

Simply applaud yourself for catching it and bring it right back to the meditation.

We're going to start off by focusing on our breath.

We're going to hold our breath for a count of two after both our inhale and exhale.

Ready?

Breathe in.

One,

Two,

Release.

One,

Two.

Good.

Breathe in.

One,

Two,

Release.

One,

Two.

Perfect.

One more time.

Breathe in.

One,

Two,

Release.

One,

Two.

I want you to really focus on the air entering your lungs.

Feel it travel throughout your body,

Energizing every part of your being.

Let your body settle into a steady breathing rhythm.

Nothing that's forced.

Just a breathing pattern that's slightly deeper than normal.

Today is a new day filled with the possibilities of unique opportunities and challenges and it's up to you to decide how you meet those challenges.

I'm going to say a few words and ask that you pick one that jumps out at you the most.

Pick one that makes your heart happy at the sheer prospect of it.

Ready?

Focused.

Positive.

Creative.

Joyous.

Confident.

Kind.

Pick your word or perhaps think of your own.

Now imagine that word in your mind's eye.

As I read the following questions,

Ponder the answers in your heart or perhaps even say them out loud if you prefer.

What emotions does it bring?

What would it feel like to be an example of that word today?

How can you live that word?

How can you give that word freely?

How can you receive that word today?

Now I want you to imagine breathing in that word,

Letting that word soak into every pore and fill up your soul and being.

I want you to feel that word manifested in your heart.

As you go about your day,

Remember that the power of that word is inside of you,

Ready to be called in a moment's notice and ready to face the day with you.

When you're ready,

Slowly and gently begin to bring your awareness back into the room.

Focus on your fingertips,

Maybe curl your toes.

Bring yourself back slowly.

If you'd like,

Feel free to journal a few ideas on how you plan to give and receive your word today.

I hope you've enjoyed our time together and please know that the world is immensely better because you are in it today.

So until next time.
