The idea of the slow rhythm of this piece is to lower the heart rate and relax. The "Huehuet" drum was used by the Aztec Culture for music, dances and rituals. I am proud to have made my own Huehuetl with my own hands, it took me 3 months to hollow out a cedar trunk and then carve it, the process was a treat... Each beat of the drum carries a little piece of me.
