Hello and welcome to this meditation journey,
Working with the elements of water,
Air,
Fire and earth.
And it can really help to bring a sense of grounding,
Reconnection,
Just feeling centred and more at peace working with these elements.
So if you just want to create the space for this meditation by finding somewhere to lie down or sit,
Maybe making it sensory with essential oils or incense,
Candles,
Blankets and cushions.
And then when you're ready to begin,
Just getting into the present moment,
Coming out of the mind thoughts that are in the future or the past and just being in the sense of now,
Just being aware of your senses,
Of what you can smell,
What you can hear,
What you can touch,
What you can sense,
What you can feel.
And then begin by taking some nice deep breaths,
Three deep breaths into the tummy area and then on the out breath,
Just really feeling that release on the out breath of any tension you're holding in the body.
Really connecting with the breath,
Feeling of the breath and tuning into the water sounds that you can hear.
Again to breathe through this meditation,
Just allowing the breath to guide you through it or feeling the sounds in the body.
So we're feeling and starting with the sound of water.
See if you can feel it,
Not just hear it.
Really feeling that cleansing that takes place with water,
Allowing it to clear your energetic space.
And then connecting now to earth,
The element of earth,
Feeling deeply connected,
Embedded in the earth and the rocks,
The caves,
The things that make up the earth and the crust of the earth.
Feeling into the earth's heartbeat,
Feeling that sense of being held and grounded,
Feeling the sounds,
Feeling that connection.
And then beginning to connect to the sounds of fire now.
Maybe you can even visualize that fire within you,
Noticing how your own fire within looks.
Thinking about the warmth that fire gives,
The inner spark and beginning to connect to the sounds of air and the feeling of air,
Our breath,
The air all around us,
The wind.
Notice how that feels in the body.
Can you feel it within you and outside of you,
That connection,
Life force energy,
How it supports the birds.
There's also this sense of holding.
And then just gently coming back into being with the breath and the body.
Just checking in with yourself how you feel and taking a nice couple of deep clearing breaths.
And then beginning to have a move around and opening your eyes when you're ready.
