Welcome to this EFT tapping session.
If you're new to EFT,
It is so easy.
You just do as I do and say as I say.
I will tap a point on my body and say a phrase.
You just tap the same point and repeat back the phrase during the pause.
We're now going to start tapping.
The side of our hand.
Sometimes it feels like I'm fighting an invisible war in my mind.
Maybe it's about the emotions that I'm feeling.
The choices I'm making.
Or not making.
Or judgments about this and that.
And ultimately,
It's a war against myself.
So maybe it's a war I can never really win.
And maybe I'm finding it really tiring.
Maybe it takes a lot of my energy.
And even though I fight this internal war.
Even though right now my mind keeps doing this.
I'm choosing to deeply and completely.
Love,
Accept,
And forgive myself anyway.
Maybe I'm choosing to thank my mind.
As it really is trying hard to keep me safe.
Even if it thinks that an internal war is the right way to go about it.
This invisible war is so tiring.
It creates so much turmoil in my mind.
So much confusion.
Sometimes there are just so many thoughts.
And they're battling it out for a win.
Maybe a battle like this means there's no winners.
No peaceful solutions.
Ways I can measure up to the standards.
Because I'm just trying to control all these thoughts.
To manage the fears that might be behind them.
Still do the things that I want to do.
Make sure that I'm pushing myself.
For not punishing myself.
Be better.
Or even learn from mistakes I've made.
And all the warring thoughts that come up.
Maybe sometimes the conflict is the heaviest thing.
It's like a battle raging in my mind.
Taking my energy and resources.
And at the same time.
It's weirdly trying to keep me safe.
Trying to think away my problems and fears.
And it's taking so much of my energy.
And maybe sometimes it's distracting me from my true desires.
Part of me knows it's not helping me grow.
Do the things they want to do.
And even though these thoughts want what's best for me.
And I'm grateful to them for being so passionate.
So relentless.
And how they show up to try to help me.
So maybe I know when they're harnessed in a healthy way.
This thinking could be such a strength.
But when I battle in my head like this.
Maybe I'll never win.
So I commit to making a change.
I commit to creating peace.
Because maybe if I don't.
This battle will destroy precious parts of me.
And maybe all my parts I loved and needed.
So I'm choosing to accept all parts of me today.
I'm finding a way to call truce with myself.
I choose to stop waging a war in my head.
I get these soldiers.
These challenging thoughts.
A moment of rest.
Because they deserve a break.
And I deserve a break.
And I'm choosing to give my thoughts that break now.
I choose to let go of any thoughts that don't have to stay in this present moment.
Soldiers at ease.
And maybe I can do this anytime I need.
Have a daily truth time.
Anytime I feel worrying thoughts building inside me.
I choose to rummage around in my brain.
Find that white flag in the corner I left it.
And wave it in the face of all these thoughts.
I let them know that they can go home.
Because the war is over.
Maybe it's been trying to protect me from some feelings I'm afraid to feel.
Maybe it's a fear of failing or being judged.
Self-doubt or people pleasing.
Or any other feelings that I haven't been feeling.
And what if I'm safe to learn to feel these things?
Instead of trying to think them.
Maybe I'm going to be okay.
And now that the soldiers have gone away.
Maybe these feelings within me are really just a little scared kid.
And I get to take their hand.
And take them with me on my day to day.
Until they feel safe and ready to move away from me.
Maybe feeling my feelings.
It's gonna feel really fucking peaceful.
Maybe I'm ready to do the things I want to do.
And still let go of mental conflict.
Maybe I deserve ease.
I'm dropping all thoughts and feelings.
That don't serve me in this moment.
I'm choosing to trust that things will work out.
And I don't need to think every possible thought about a situation for that to happen.
I don't have to overthink it.
And I'm choosing to believe that this internal war can be ended peacefully anytime I choose.
And I choose to end it here,
Now and forever.
I no longer let my internal conflict get in my way.
And maybe in doing so.
I'm open to some magical,
Peaceful things happening inside me.
I'm entering mental peace.
Anytime I need,
I can get out the peace flag.
And send the soldiers home.
Today I choose inner peace.
I deserve inner peace.
I am safe to feel peaceful.
I am allowed to put my thoughts down for a moment.
I can imagine the best case scenario.
I can embrace ease.
I can fly my white flag.
Stop there,
Take a deep breath and hold at the top.
And release.
I would love to hear how that went for you today.
