Crossroads with the Archangel Chamuel Part 1

In this Podcast, I will introduce you to the "fully loaded" Archangel Chamuel. He is the Angel that shows up when you're feeling stuck at a crossroads. This recording was released on September 15, 2017.

Hi friends!

Welcome back to the Heavenly Hugs Podcast,

A podcast where I share my personal angel stories and insight so that you too can see how you're being blessed by these beautiful beings of light.

Today I will be talking about the Archangel Chamuel.

Archangel Chamuel is one of those diverse angels that I like to call fully loaded.

He has so many qualities and there are so many things that he assists with that I think he is one of the most beneficial archangels.

But then again I probably say that about all the archangels I've talked about.

So first off the Archangel Chamuel's color,

Or the color he comes forth with me is mint green.

And he also reminds me of Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.

So if you remember the story of the Wizard of Oz,

Dorothy in the beginning she's walking alone on this yellow brick road.

And then what happens is she comes to a crossroads and she's not sure what direction to go into and she's like,

Oh maybe I should go this way or maybe that way or I'm not really sure.

And then all of a sudden she hears this voice off to the side.

And through some dialogue she meets the Scarecrow and he kind of teases her and says go that way,

No maybe that way.

And what happens at the end of the scene they kind of lock arms and they just go off together.

And this is how Archangel Chamuel has shown up in my life many times when I seem to be at a crossroads in my life.

And it's interesting,

I know I mentioned in the last podcast with Tony Robbins that I feel like May and June I've been kind of struggling with where I'm going and what my next step is and where I fit and where is this all morphing into.

And I feel like I've been leaning on the Archangel Chamuel more so now.

Once again I find myself at that crossroads and saying,

God there's so much I can do with this work,

There's so much I'm enjoying,

Where do I go with it?

So you know in my life right now,

In my business,

In my personal life I feel like I'm kind of like in between spaces and I'm in this transition.

And this is where Archangel Chamuel shows up in your life and he's so profound with it because for so long I used to embark on this journey alone by myself trying to figure it all out.

And over this last year I've been really trying to open up to support,

Not just angelic support but support from like people around me.

And of course in the past I've had,

As we all have,

People that we couldn't trust and relationships that didn't work out.

And so there's some fear sometimes that comes with support.

And I find that when you genuinely lean on the Archangel Chamuel,

He can really come in and guide us on our path,

Right?

So think about how Dorothy and Scarecrow had this relationship.

They were just moving along this path together and it was so much more so they had obstacles and challenges and fears but they could get through it together because they were together.

And I found that by opening up to the Archangels and opening up to support that it lessened the impact and sped up the recovery process of where I was going and what I was doing.

So maybe you find yourself at a crossroads right now in your life and you're not really sure which way to go to.

You know,

I found myself at a crossroads when I was working for a law firm before I got into working in my spiritual practice and opening Heavenly Hugs as a business.

And I was paralegal working in a law firm that,

You know,

Focused primarily on real estate.

And I remember sitting there knowing that it was not the place for me.

And what happened was things started to get progressively worse.

And I find that when it's time for us to change in our lives,

When God has this bigger plan for us,

We start to feel challenges and difficulties and we start to feel uncomfortable.

And I always thought it was like,

For me,

I always thought those difficulties or those challenges were I was doing something wrong.

I needed to figure it out.

And I didn't really see it as God's way of pushing me out to something even better.

Now,

Prior to working in a law firm,

I was a preschool teacher.

I worked with three-year-olds and I absolutely loved it for quite a few years.

But over time,

What happened is the dynamics of that feel started to change.

The kids in the environment and the people I worked with started to change and it wasn't so much fun anymore.

And so once again,

I was like,

It was like a tug-of-war.

I was holding onto the rope of the old and holding onto the rope of the new.

And I was in between and that tug-of-war started.

And so I've been at these crossroads a few times in my life and I've recognized that there are signs coming up to it.

There are difficulties and challenges where now so,

Like here I am once again in 2017,

Getting ready to transition and morph once again and I recognize it.

And so at this point,

You know,

I'm calling on the angels.

I'm working with a support system faster now and open up to the advice and the guidance that people give me.

But I really know that Archangel Shamuel is bringing these people places,

Things and ideas in our life.

Now,

I've said often and I'm going to say again,

They abide by the law of free will.

So they can't intervene or they won't intervene unless we're asking.

And I have to say,

The angels are a big part of my life.

They're a big part of my practice and my work and my personal life.

But I do forget to call on them.

You know,

I'm human.

And I find that when I notice these difficulties and I notice these challenges coming up and I'm getting more and more uncomfortable with where I'm at,

I'm quicker to remind myself to call on these beings of light for assistance.

And so if you think about Shamuel,

His color is mint green.

And besides the arching,

Besides the scarecrow,

He also reminds me of the mint plant.

So if you've ever planted mint,

My green thumb people out there,

If you've ever planted mint,

You have to contain it because it's like a weed and it will take right over.

And so this is what Shamuel does.

He comes in into your life and really kind of pushes you towards the life that's best suited for you.

Now,

I'm not going to say it's,

You know,

The easiest or it's going to be clear.

You're going to be absolutely certain what the next steps are.

But knowing you have this being of light with you is so profound and so helpful.

And so as you're as you're now embarking on this journey,

Archangel Shamuel,

He's also known as the angel of lost things.

And so how many times at this crossroads do we feel lost?

And what he's really good at is bringing in those people into your life that can support you,

That can help you,

That can guide you.

And so a while back,

I remember being at this crossroads and calling on the Archangel Shamuel and at the time,

I remember planting mint in my backyard and I didn't know at the time that mint was the weed and it just takes right over.

And so I was I bought mint.

I loved the way it smelled.

I planted it.

And little did I realize that this was the Archangel Shamuel incorporating himself or including himself in my life and kind of making like his presence known to me.

So here I am at this crossroads in my life trying to figure out what I'm going to do.

You know,

I went to college for early childhood education.

I was back in school for paralegal studies.

And once again,

I was unhappy with the career I was going I was I was going towards.

And I'm sitting there wondering,

Like,

What am I doing with my life?

I go outside,

You know,

And I see that this mint over time has just spread completely.

And I kind of laughed.

I'm like,

Of course,

Shamuel,

You know,

Inviting him in my life to kind of give me that support and that overabundance of certainty and where I needed to be.

So I started calling on Archangel Shamuel.

And at that time,

I had been taking trainings.

I had been taking classes with energy work and spiritualism and intuitive stuff.

And but I wasn't really sure or confident if it was something that I wanted to do.

I knew it was working for myself.

So I kept asking,

I felt lost.

I felt like I didn't know what I wanted to do.

I knew I couldn't continue a career in this paralegal field that I was in.

And I kept calling on Shamuel and God,

Of course,

Asking for their assistance,

Show me,

Show me the doors,

Show me the steps,

Show me the opportunities.

So I have to say,

Every day,

What I started to do was,

I used to go out in the morning,

And I used to pick a few mint leaves.

And I used to come in and I had this big purple bottle of like it was just a container that I filled with water.

And I would put mint leaves in it.

And it was kind of my way to like absorb and take in the Archangel Shamuel into my life and be reminded that he's there working with me.

And I have to say,

I got to the point going where things get progressively worse.

Now I couldn't quit the job.

And I didn't know what I was going to do next.

And I remember at a certain point,

It was like maybe a couple of weeks before they finally let me go.

I was crying like every morning and every night,

And just asking for Shamuel's assistance.

And I realized now that I kind of had to go through this experience to really appreciate where I am right now.

So I don't believe God punishes.

I don't believe that he wants us to suffer.

But what I do believe is that we have these challenging experiences that give us an opportunity to grow for our soul growth,

And also our human growth.

And Shamuel plays a big role in a lot of these transitions in our lives.

And,

And so you know,

A lot of people right now in this world,

They're going through challenges,

They're,

They're waking up to different ideas and what they want and what makes them feel good and what doesn't make them feel good.

So I feel like a lot of people are struggling with what's next.

There's a lot of uncertainty.

And there's a lot of people who are in the space of transition.

So,

So I invite you to call on the Archangel Shamuel if you like mint green and you look good in the color mint green,

I would suggest buying shirts that that color or surrounding yourself in a blanket of mint green,

And just to really absorbing him into your life because remember,

He becomes this partner in your life.

And it's like you're working together with him.

And so,

So I have to say,

You know,

I got to the point where I just couldn't take this job anymore.

And I went and interviewed for a chiropractic assistant job.

And when I had gotten back in to the law firm that afternoon after the interview,

They took me upstairs and basically the real estate market was tanking.

And because I was the last one hired,

They wanted me to take a lesser position,

Basically working part time for them and part time on unemployment.

And I said,

I kind of laughed.

I'm like,

Wow,

Here I am taking this action to get out of this career.

And on the same day that I interviewed,

They're now in the process of letting me go.

So I said,

You know,

Give me some time to think about it.

You know,

I think maybe it was on a Wednesday,

And they wanted me to make a decision by Friday.

So I went and my boyfriend at the time,

Which was I think one of the best advice he had ever given me.

And one of the best things that I take from that relationship is he told me that I was going to tell them now that I needed a full time position,

And that I was not going to take that part time position.

And that was it.

And again,

You know,

This is a part of me finding my power.

And I'm thinking,

I can't say that.

Archangel Shemuel,

Is this the right thing?

Is this the right opportunity?

You know,

And so Friday came along,

And I did exactly that.

And my manager at the time said,

Okay,

She said,

Well,

You know,

Let me talk to you know,

The attorney and I'll get back to you.

Well,

That night,

She called me up,

And she basically said,

You don't have to come back.

And they basically let me go.

By the grace of God,

They let me collect now this was before the unemployment,

You know,

Crisis and all the extensions.

So I knew I had a limited number of time and limited amount of time to get myself back on track.

And so I remember walking in the house sitting down on the couch and saying,

Thank God it's over.

And then thinking,

All right,

Shamuel,

Now what here I am getting ready to embark on this process moving forward.

And let me tell you,

Three weeks later,

I was renting space with an acupuncturist.

And she was giving me the opportunity to offer Reiki services and angel intuitive readings.

At that time,

She gave me my own little space,

My own little office,

And she charged me a minimal amount for of rent.

And I knew that that was that was where it was going to start.

And once I decided and you know,

Getting back to that chiropractic assistant job,

Obviously,

I didn't get that.

And,

But I believe,

You know,

I really wanted that job.

But I believe it was a catalyst for me saying to the universe that I'm absolutely serious about leaving this job knowing that it's not right for me.

So I started to take action.

And I say that because Archangel Shamuel will get you the right people,

Places,

Things and ideas so that you can start taking the steps to unplug from these environments that you're not happy with,

To start taking baby steps towards a path,

I'm getting you right in the in the right direction.

So that's where it started.

You know,

I rented a space with an acupuncturist for about six months.

And then I moved into my own office and I had a business partner that we shared the space with.

And I'm proud to say that here I am in September of 2017.

About the same time,

10 years ago that I was getting let go of that position.

And on October,

I'll be celebrating my 10th year in business.

Now I have to say,

I took the road less traveled.

I can't say that it was easy,

But it has been the most fulfilling,

Life changing journey that I could have imagined then.

Now I have to say,

Getting back to uncertainty,

God doesn't always give us the details.

Now,

If I had insight into the path that I was about to embark on for the next 10 years,

I probably would have said,

Heck no,

No way not doing it,

I'm going to stay where I am.

But because of that certainty that I couldn't stay where I was,

And that uncertainty of I know this feels right,

I don't know where I'm going with it,

But I'm going to keep moving.

That perfect blend got me to where I am today.

And now I can share this podcast and you know,

Get with clients and really empower people to take the road less traveled to really shine their light on their gifts and their talents.

Now,

I don't recommend people quitting their job.

And I do have to say that I did work.

I did some per diem work for a different law firm while I was growing my practice.

And I felt that gave me the opportunity to not worry about money.

But I know the Archangel Shamuel in that moment I was I was lost.

I was at this crossroads.

I didn't know where I was going.

And I know he was the angel that came in.

And of course,

I was drinking mint every day I was seeing the color mint green.

And and and being able to see these signs and make these connections shows you that you're on the right path.

Now another experience that I have with Archangel Shamuel is Shamuel and money.

So,

You know,

I grew up as I've mentioned before with a single mother and money was never plentiful.

And I obviously we need to support myself and my business and need to thrive with with money.

And what I find that Archangel Shamuel is really good at is is healing your past relationship to money.

So what I would find myself doing is sending him back to those points where I had traumas and fears with money,

Running up credit card debt,

Or that single mother who at the cash register didn't have enough money to pay for the groceries,

And then having to take food out,

You know,

As a child,

It's,

It's scary,

And you don't know where your next meal is going to come from.

And so I asked Archangel Shamuel to go back to heal those fears to heal those past traumas in those past experience so that I could really move forward and embrace money in a healthy way.

So if you are wanting to embark on,

You know,

A new life purpose,

Or you're wanting to start a business or try something new that seems scary for you.

And there's like a financial connection to it,

Call on the Archangel Shamuel to to assist,

You know,

To heal the effects that money has had on the past for you so that you can move forward free and clear with it.

Gladys.

The laugh every time you say hi to me.

Because it's a little ridiculous.

It's funny because we're right here.

We've been sitting here for an hour.

So Shamuel.

Yes.

Am I saying that right?

Yes.

Okay.

The names,

First and foremost,

The names of these angels started to get to me.

So I looked up Shamuel means the wrath of God,

Or that's at least what the Wikipedia says.

How did you spell it?

Well,

I yeah,

But it's under Wikipedia,

C-A-M-A-E-L.

And then it says probably alternative of either C-H-A-M-U-E-L.

Heat,

Rage,

Anger of wrath of God.

Wow.

God is risen,

Raised by God,

One who sees or stands before God.

So I guess that makes sense though,

When you're talking about like,

Because you've talked about the crossroads and the yeah.

And you think about it makes sense to like,

It sounds like the angel being like rage and stuff.

But when you think about how you're internally feeling,

When you're going through some type of transition,

Or some crossroads,

There's this internal battle and this struggle.

So it does make sense.

Not so much with the angel being scary,

But more of the emotions we're having.

Of what you're dealing with.

Yeah,

Yeah,

That makes sense.

So you talked about green.

Does that have anything to do with the fact that this is an angel that deals with money?

I don't know.

Maybe.

I'm not sure.

Maybe it's ironic,

You know.

But yeah,

He comes in as this light mint green color.

And,

You know,

As I said,

It's really,

And he may be a different color for other people.

But anytime I've seen him or worked with people who have seen him have come into this light,

Light mint green color.

And again,

I think it gives us something that's relatable that we can connect with,

You know,

You know,

I'll have people who will sit be sitting in front of me and they'll be struggling on their path or they'll be having this challenge with career transition or soulmate or something.

And they're sitting here wearing the color mint green.

And I just think it's so funny that people naturally cloak themselves in a color,

Not realizing that it has some significant connection with an angel or the energy that's working with them.

You talked about,

I don't think that you talked about it in this episode,

But the you mentioned in the next one,

Andy's candies.

Yeah.

I think that it's funny,

Or ironic,

I guess,

Though,

Like the one place,

The one physical place in my life where I went out where I am usually when I'm like uncomfortable money stuff,

Talk comes up.

There has been a package of Andy's candies sitting right next to Andy's chocolate mints,

Sitting right next to where those conversations take place for about two years.

No,

Like from a Christmas,

No one ever moved it off the counter and they're just still sitting there.

No one's ever opened it.

No one's ever touched them.

And like when I have,

When I'm thinking about this stuff,

I'm usually looking at that box of candy going,

Why is that still there?

Someone throw that away.

But I'm,

I'm fixating on it.

And I just thought that that's cool.

And it goes to show you how the angels show up in our lives.

And,

And,

And,

And I'm,

I'm glad you brought that up because it's a good point to say that I introduced these angels or I talk about them and I share my stories,

But they're already integrating in your life.

Right?

So by me mentioning something like the Andy's mint chocolates or the scarecrow,

Maybe the scarecrow is somebody's favorite character from wizard of Oz.

And maybe they struggle with career transitions or maybe they struggle with money or maybe they struggle with soulmate relationships.

Right?

And what it's doing is it's putting like two and two together.

Like why hasn't anyone sold this throw thrown that package away?

And that's what happens with the angels.

It's like they linger.

Right?

And,

And more often than not,

You probably don't even notice that Andy's package of mint chocolates.

Right?

And then as you're,

As I'm talking about it,

It's like a trigger in your mind that's like,

Hey,

Wait a minute.

When I've been in that position,

There's always been that Andy's there.

And now you have that connection.

You can say,

Oh yeah,

It's a reminder for me to invite the Archangel Shamuel into my life to assist me so that I'm not working alone.

I also don't know why no one ate them because they're delicious.

Why has that package?

Don't eat them now.

I'll throw them away next time I go there.

Well then no,

Then maybe I'll deal with the problems.

But,

Uh,

Speaking of you,

You talked a lot about personal,

Um,

Stuff.

You talked about personal stuff and you just talked about other people,

You introducing the,

You know,

This,

These,

Um,

Concepts to other people that then see what's going on in their life.

And,

Um,

You just talked about possibly get us getting some interaction from listeners of the show about their lives.

And if they have questions that they would like for me to ask you during this,

Um,

During this time,

Uh,

I think that that's a fantastic idea.

Uh,

Do you want to talk a little bit about that to the listeners and how they can do that?

I do.

I,

When I started this podcast,

I wasn't really sure where it was going,

What I was doing.

I knew I had a lot of information about angels that I knew needed to be shared and listening to podcasts,

You know,

Um,

On my own,

In my own space,

To many different podcasts.

I started thinking about like,

Wow,

How,

How crazy good would it be to start interacting with people?

And I thought,

As I'm talking about these angels,

People must have questions out there.

Like I'm struggling with this or I have this challenge and what angel can help me with this and what angel can help me with that.

And I thought like,

What a great idea to give people an opportunity to either email or mail me if they want to be anonymous,

A question or a letter about something that's going on in your life that maybe we can start sharing.

Um,

And,

And what happens is you find that you're not alone,

You know,

By sharing your story,

You'll find that there are other people who struggle with it.

Maybe it's something that I've had an experience with it and I feel like it will band our audience or my audience closer together because we'll start to see like how relatable we are.

Wow, so much of what you said resignated with me. I was in an unhappy job and things were getting more and more stressful. At the time I really felt that it was the universe's way of saying, this isnt for you anymore, but I was so scared to leave. Scared of the unknown, scared of being unemployed but in the end I had to leave. My body was in pain, my stress levels were rising and then I met a guy who had a great job and moved in with him and everything fell into place except the job factor. I feel I'm at a crossroads as to what to do now and this meditation really helped me to understand what's going on and how I can call on this archangel to help me. Thank you so much 😊
