Come to a seated position for this meditation,
Either seated cross-legged on the ground or seated in a chair with the feet flat on the floor.
Stand up tall through your spine and soften the shoulders away from the ears.
Feel the crown of your head balanced over your hips with the back of your neck long and your chin slightly tucked.
Check in with yourself.
How are you feeling today?
Physically,
Mentally,
Emotionally,
Energetically.
Just observe yourself,
Your thoughts,
Your feelings,
Your physical sensations,
Your breath.
Notice any areas of the body that feel tense or tight.
See if you can breathe and relax those areas.
Just become still within.
Let your breath find a natural,
Relaxed pace.
Watch the ease of breath as it flows in and out through your nose like a gentle breeze.
Let go of your thoughts,
Plans and worries.
When your mind begins to wander,
Use the breath as an anchor.
To bring yourself back into the present moment.
Today,
We will meditate on expressing love within us.
It is so important that we feel compassion,
Gratitude and love for ourselves.
This is the pathway to true happiness and peace.
When we love ourselves deeply within,
We need nothing from the outside world and we become free,
Peaceful and at ease.
In order to express our love within us,
We will focus upon the energy of the heart.
In the center of your chest,
There is a beautiful glowing light that contains all your love,
Gratitude and joy.
As you become aware of this light in your heart space,
You will start to feel these energies of love,
Gratitude and joy.
We will start to send our breath into the heart space to expand and brighten the glowing light.
Watch the breath as it flows in through your nose,
Down your throat and into your heart center.
Imagine that the breath is made of the same beautiful loving light.
Inhale and draw that light into your body and right into your heart.
Watch as the light in your heart space becomes bigger and brighter.
Feel the energy of love growing within you.
Focus upon thoughts that make you feel loved.
You are enough.
You are beautiful enough.
You are smart enough.
You are strong enough.
You are the most amazing you that there is.
You need nothing outside of yourself to feel loved and safe.
You are already everything you need.
Let these feelings of self-acceptance and self-love resonate throughout your heart space.
Keep breathing and filling your heart with light.
When you feel full of love in your heart,
We will start to spread this love throughout the body by using the circulatory system.
Your anatomical heart is connected to hundreds of arteries that carry blood,
Oxygen and life force energy throughout your body to every single cell.
And your veins carry this blood back to the heart to be replenished with more oxygen and energy.
This incredible and vast network brings you life every moment of every day.
We will envision using this circulatory system to spread the loving light throughout the body.
Imagine that the beautiful glowing light of love that you have created in your heart space begins to fill your anatomical heart.
Each time your heart beats,
It begins to send this sparkling love light down through your arteries to be carried to each and every cell.
Watch the beautiful light begin to spread upward into your neck,
To your face,
Head and brain.
This light fills your mind with loving thoughts.
Then watch the light be pumped down your arms and into your hands so your hands are filled with love.
Everything you touch is graced with your loving energy.
Envision the warm healing light traveling down into your belly,
Filling your organs,
Tissues and cells with this light.
Allow it to spread into your hips,
Down your legs and all the way into your feet and toes.
Gaze inwardly at your entire body filled with sparkling loving light.
Every cell,
Every muscle,
Every bone,
Every thought,
Every feeling,
Every breath.
You are loved.
You are safe.
You are special.
You are enough.
Breathe and enjoy being filled with the energy of your own love,
