A yoga nidra meditation,

We can shape our lives by changing our thoughts.

Rather than reacting impulsively,

We can enable our entire being to ease into experiencing joy,

Peace,

And serenity.

Intention serves as a guiding light towards a life-affirming path that our minds can embrace.

It aids us in releasing the grip of beliefs and behaviors that color our perceptions.

Let's start by setting an intention.

I accept myself as I am and the world as it is.

Lie down.

Make yourself comfortable.

Come to rest.

Let all disturbances,

Whether external or internal,

Draw you deeper inward.

Shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Close your eyes.

Release all thoughts,

Worries,

And relax.

Feel supported.

Repeat your intention silently to yourself three times.

I accept myself as I am and the world as it is.

I accept myself as I am and the world as it is.

I accept myself as I am and the world as it is.

Now bring your attention to your face and with the next out-breath let go of any expression.

Relax the tiny muscles behind the eyes and feel them soften.

Smile gently to further relax the face.

Allow your jaw to loosen.

You can yawn if you wish.

Feel the sensations in your face and head.

Everything relaxes as if bathed in warm light.

Your scalp,

Forehead,

Nose,

Lips,

Chin,

Inside your head.

Feel the skin and muscles relax throughout your body.

The whole body is filled with warm light.

Feel nourished.

Feel your physical presence and welcome everything.

Let go of your troubles.

Together with the out-breath.

If distractions arise just acknowledge them and continue sensing the breath.

Now breathe halfway into your chest.

Inhale fully.

Pause briefly.

Inhale fully.

And exhale with a deep sigh.

Again.

Breathe halfway into your chest.

Then inhale fully.

Pause briefly.

And exhale with a deep sigh.

One last time.

Breathe halfway into your chest.

Then inhale fully.

Pause briefly.

And exhale with a deep sigh.

Continue breathing normally.

Now breathe in from the soles of your feet to the crown of the head.

Breathe out from the crown to the soles of your feet.

And repeat this for the next few breaths.

Now breathe in from the pelvis to the crown.

And breathe out from the crown to the pelvis.

Breathe in from the navel to the crown.

And gently out from the crown to the navel.

Breathe in from the hearts.

And gently out through the crown.

Breathe in gently through the crown into the heart.

Breathe in through the throat and gently out through the crown.

Gently breathe in through the crown into the heart.

Breathe in through the third eye and gently out through the crown.

Gently breathe the air through the crown into the third eye.

Merge with the upward flowing energy.

Become one with the limitless expanse of energy extending in all directions.

Feel as open as the blue sky where clouds effortlessly come and go leaving no trace.

You are clear,

Stable,

Timeless.

Like the sky itself.

Everything that has happened in life is over.

There's nothing to do.

Just trust.

You are here permeated by awareness.

You are perfect just as you are and you always have been.

Feel the strength that exists within you.

I accept myself as I am and the world as it is.

You are free to live true to yourself.

Open your heart and feel content.

Allow yourself to spontaneously respond to these words.

I love and accept myself as I am.

Every cell of my body is filled with the radiant light of love healing me.

If you feel any area that needs healing whether physical,

Mental or emotional allow this light and love to flow into that area now.

You are a messenger of light and love and can share it with anyone at any time.

Feel your breath.

Notice how relaxed the body is.

How gently the breath flows.

How quiet the mind is.

Be aware of the air touching your skin.

Gently start to move.

And when you're ready pull up your knees.

Without haste roll onto one side.

Be grateful.

Become aware of your intention.

I accept myself as I am and the world as it is.

Now every time you react remember your intention.

Become aware of your body.

Feel peace.

Feel content.

And when you're ready you can stretch your body.

And if you like you can sit up again.
