By relying on thinking, we experience ourselves as being separate from others. Feel the connection with the stillness in your heart. It allows all the stories and ideas, the fantasies and fears to be present, without having to follow them. Surrendering to this inherent peace, is letting go into clarity.

Letting go into clarity.

Sit comfortably and take a few deep breaths.

Relax with every out-breath.

Allow your face to soften.

Relax the tension behind your eyes and in your jaw.

Let your shoulders drop.

Put on a half smile and notice how it brings a sense of openness.

Feel the breath moving in your body.

Notice that your body is breathing all by itself.

Continue to relax with your out-breath.

Observe what your mind is doing.

Just know it.

Don't judge it.

By labeling something a problem,

It becomes one.

If you see problems as an opening,

All challenges will become opportunities.

Remember the last time you were angry or had another strong emotion.

Emotions all involve thoughts,

Feelings,

And sensations,

Which all change constantly.

Allow yourself to feel the wave of an emotion until it fades away.

Focus your breathing on the stomach.

Let your attention move with the energy of the emotion.

Focus to feel the wave of energy and stay present with the sensations.

Welcome them without acting on them.

Every feeling and emotion wants to be seen,

Heard,

Felt,

And connected with,

As we all do.

Notice how accepting a strong emotion changes it and allows your mind to become clear.

Everything is okay just as it is.

Accept that whatever is happening is happening.

Let your attitude be open.

Try not to cling to a thought or an opinion.

Just be aware and curious about what is going on.

Become aware of a thought as it arises.

Notice that you are aware of the thought arising.

Be aware of it changing and dissolving.

Thoughts are the natural activity of the mind.

They come and go.

Only the stillness of awareness in which they appear and dissolve remains.

If you're distracted,

Welcome the distraction.

Return to being wide open awareness,

Allowing everything to be as it is.

There is no goal,

No pressure,

Nothing to control,

Just witnessing thoughts and feelings coming and going.

Everything is a process happening in the still,

Spacious knowing of awareness.

Notice the light on your closed eyes.

Listen to the sounds appearing from all directions without naming them.

Just be aware that you're aware of them.

What can you smell?

What is the taste in your mouth?

What is the surface of your skin?

What sensations and energies can you feel in your body?

Everything you're aware of appears,

Changes,

And dissolves without a trace.

Meditation reminds us that we're always aware.

Everything is a process of coming and going in awareness,

Even if we don't notice it or forget it.

If you forget something or your mind wanders,

You can always choose to be aware of the present moment.

Notice that every movement is happening without effort and within stillness.

Everything comes and goes in spacious awareness.

There's nowhere to go,

Nothing to do,

Nothing to control.

We use thoughts to divide and differentiate,

Not to relax.

They lead to concepts and beliefs.

Your mind is full of memories and plans for the future.

Step out of your stories and choose to accept the present moment.

Imagine it just the way it is.

Relax.

Let go of ideas and concepts.

Everything is welcome in stillness.

Everything is judged.

Tensions in the body are a sign that something has not relaxed and that it's waiting to be recognized and welcomed.

Allow yourself to relax completely.

Be open and trust.

Think about what happened to you today.

When did you feel resistance or complain?

Did you wish for things to stop and just go away?

What would have happened if you'd welcomed them instead?

Be curious,

Feel into the situation,

And don't judge.

Let your thoughts move freely like the clouds in the sky.

Bend into this vast space of awareness until you become one with it.

Awareness is wide open like love.

It doesn't judge,

It forgives.

It's always whole and always there.

Awareness and love allow everything to be just as it is.

Nothing needs to be different or changed.

Notice that if you're really open,

You're responsive but not reactive.

By relying on thinking,

We experience ourselves as being separate from others.

Thinking means giving up this feeling of separateness.

The heart allows the stories and ideas,

The fantasies and fears,

Without having to follow them.

Your heart is always in the present moment.

Feel yourself as this presence.

You're simply here,

Alive,

Breathing,

Feeling,

Experiencing with nothing to achieve.

Feel the inner peace and the fundamental goodness of our original nature.

Just being and allowing everything as it is is the foundation of love and freedom.

Awareness is letting go into clarity.

Just being is keeping you awake,

Provincial.

Thank you.
