The fuinn(plural) work on many different levels, they harmonize the three parts of us that relate to the three meanings of the word- the Spiritual, the Psychic or Otherworldly, and the physical. They are a powerful spiritual tool, that after chanting, can induce a deep meditative state. The fonn used in this lesson is Ah -Hu-Thi, a simple, yet mesmerizing chant that represents the three stages of the unfolding of creation. A -The Great Mystery draws in its breath....Hu - That breath is breathed out, and creation is born of the Mystery, and Thi - The Divine nature, beingness, and intention acts within the field of Creation.

Preparing The Sacred Space: Tools, Altar, And Intention
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to prepare for your Samhain ritual by gathering the essential tools, setting up a meaningful altar, and creating a sacred space. Explore the symbolism behind key ritual items like candles, offerings, and seasonal decorations, while also discovering how to cleanse and energetically protect your space. Finally, you’ll focus on setting a clear intention for your ritual, ensuring it aligns with the themes of Samhain—honoring ancestors, releasing the old, and welcoming transformation. Fonn used in this lesson Siochaon Dia Dhuit. These words are still an everyday greeting in the Gaelic speaking parts of Ireland. As a fonn, the simple message and serene melody create an atmosphere of clarity and sacred calm. The Gaelic "Dia" (God) is linguistically related to the Sanskrit "Deva". Siochan Dia Dhuit - Peace of God be upon you - Shee-uch-ahn dee-ah choot.

Honoring Samhain With Your Own Ritual
In this final lesson, you’ll be guided step-by-step through a complete Samhain ritual, designed to honor ancestors, release what no longer serves you, and invite new beginnings. With a detailed script, you’ll open sacred space, make offerings, reflect on the past year, and use divination (optional) to seek guidance for the future. The ritual concludes with closing the circle and grounding, leaving you with a deeper connection to the spirit world and the cycle of life. Perfect for a meaningful, personal Samhain celebration. There are three fonn chants in this lesson:
1) Gun Tigeadh Solas Nan Solas - a loving call to the light that lives in all things to show itself to the eye of our heart. Gun tigeadh, solas nan solas - Come light of lights - Goon tee-guch,sol-us nan sol-us, Air mo chridhe - To my heart - Air mo chree
2) Caim Agus Currach - the word Caim means encompassing or encircling. It is often used to mean a loving and protecting Divine Grace that encircles us wherever we go. The currach is a leather boat where we drift on the open sea until the hand of Grace takes us the where we need to be. Caim agus Corrach - Grace and Corracle - Kime ah-cus cu-rrach.
