Two of the best ways to experience bhakti (divine connection and love) is through listening to stories (śravanam) and singing (kirtanam). Join me I will relate a story of one of the Hindu deities each day, to make a connection to the divine. Then, I will teach and sing a song (bhajan / kirtan) that relates to the deity.

Day 1: What Is Bhajan And Kirtan? Ganesha
We will explore what bhajan and kirtan the importance of bhakti (divine love). We will then learn about Ganesha, who is always sung to first before any endeavour to remove obstacles in our paths and grant wisdom on our journey. We will then learn and sing Ganesha Sharanam. A Guru is one who dispels darkness by providing spiritual wisdom, bringing us closer to the divine. A Guru is our mother, father, a selfless teach, and the divine within us.
