Leçon 1
What Is A Story?
We’ll begin this course by diving into what defines a story and limiting belief, so that we’re setting up a foundation for our work. We’ll explore our own family past to uncover stories that lie there, and how they’ve affected us over the years. This is the bedrock of recognizing the stories that live within us, so that we can begin to give them a voice.
In this lesson, you’re going to reflect on the concept of limiting beliefs in your own life and family line.
Leçon 2
Honoring & Understanding Your Feelings
On Day 2, we’re going to focus on the feelings associated with our old stories and limiting beliefs. In order to heal any part of ourselves, we have to feel the blockages, pain, and struggle that keep us stuck. Honoring our feelings, just the way they are, is potent medicine for understanding these blocks.
In this lesson, you will be guided through a visualization meditation to explore your current feeling landscape with honesty and integrity.
Leçon 3
Honoring & Understanding Your Fear
It is said that all emotions branch out from two main roots: love and fear. While love is the effortless, unconditional expression that brings us joy and peace, fear is simply the shadow side of this same coin. Therefore, on Day 3, we’re going to explore this concept of light and dark as it relates to love and fear; additionally, we’ll dive into our emotion of fear, why we struggle with it, and how to reset our relationship with it. In this lesson, you will also write a love letter!
Leçon 4
How To Recognize Your Own Story
Now that we have a new perspective around our emotions, specifically fear, we can begin to recognize our own stories and limiting beliefs with fresh eyes. On Day 4, we’re going to use meditation and journaling to begin to extract our stories from the shadows. We will use journaling to finally give our stories acknowledgment that they exist, so that we can untangle them from denial, rejection, and isolation.
In this lesson, you will also be guided to explore setting up an altar or space in your home to honor this work as it progresses through the course.
Leçon 5
Facing Your Story & Giving It A Voice
On Day 5, we’re going to use creative writing to approach your story from a symbolic perspective, versus a literal one. The intention behind the exercise is to begin to see your limiting beliefs with eyes of compassion and forgiveness, versus resentment and hate.
In this lesson, you will also use the power of your sweet imagination to give your story a voice and listen for nuggets of wisdom that have been waiting for you for generations.
Leçon 6
Taking Stock Of What No Longer Works
With what we know now and the foundation we’ve set for honoring our feelings, we can begin to recognize where our old stories and limiting beliefs have kept us stuck. We’re going to do this in tangible, concrete ways by making your "Taking Stock" list, where you’ll examine where all your story lives.
Like cobwebs that need to be swiped, in this lesson, you will finally begin to spring clean the old stories from your life.
Leçon 7
Writing Your Old Story Ending
On Day 7, we’re officially more than halfway through the course, which means that we can now begin to write the exit ending for our old story and limiting belief. With what we know now and the tools and awareness at our disposal, we can see that carrying this old story around is no longer viable. It’s time for it to go!
In this lesson, you will write your old story ending, giving it a final voice before discarding it forever.
Leçon 8
Feeling & Leaning Into Your New Story
On Day 8, we begin to piece together what our new story looks and feels like. In this lesson, you will be guided through a visualization meditation to consciously decide how you would like your new story and mindset to feel from here on out.
As your life will undoubtedly change and evolve tenfold through the course of your life, in this lesson, you are creating the core feelings that will act as values and guides in whatever life brings (and throws at you).
Leçon 9
Choosing Potent Medicine Words For Your Future
Because so much of this work revolves around expression, on Day 9, we’re going to start wrapping up this course with the most potent exercise to support Day 8: how to use our words. The way in which we speak to ourselves directly affects our reality. Our old stories were written in words that we no longer resonate with.
Therefore, in this lesson, you will consciously chart the way you want to speak about your dreams, goals, and stories. You will also create a word cloud for your altar or home space!
Leçon 10
Living Your New Story / Tips For Your Future
Congratulations on making it to Day 10! Diving into your old family stories and limiting beliefs is hard work. But it is potent work that you’re worthy of investing your time and effort to. In this lesson, you will receive tips for how to nurture your new story mindset and what to do when those old stories creep in (and they will, from time to time).
You have the power to change the course of your life and affect generations after you. You are the one your ancestors have been waiting for.
