A Mindful Way Of Calming Panic is a 5-session course that will help strengthen your inner resources to lessen panic and feel more comfortable within your body and mind. You will learn formal mindfulness practices such as the mindful check-in, mindful breathing, body scan, sitting meditation, and open awareness, as well as the befriending practices of the heart with self-compassion, loving kindness, and the web of life meditations. You will also learn informal practices of mindfulness that you can bring into your daily life to help meditate and transform panic by learning to respond wisely rather than reacting. This will help begin to break old habitual patterns that no longer serve health and well-being. Most of all, you will learn to trust yourself, to grow with more confidence, and to meet life more fully with an open, wise, and compassionate heart. You will leave more connected and interconnected with life.

Introduction To A Mindful Way Of Calming Panic
In this lesson, we will be discussing the basics: who this offering is for, what you will learn; and the what the difference is between fear, anxiety, and panic. We will also dive into the causes of panic. We will talk about mindfulness and do formal mindfulness practice (mindful check-in).

Supportive Attitudes Of Mindfulness
In this lesson, we will take a look at supportive attitudes of mindfulness to help calm panic.

Working With Challenges
We will discuss how to work with challenges that come up while practicing mindfulness meditation, in order to understand the mind-body connection more.

Daily Calming Panic Practices
We will learn the practices of STOP, as well as learn to pause and acknowledge, so as to transform panic.
