Leçon 1
What Is Journaling And Why Is It Useful?
In this lesson, we will talk about what journaling is, why it might be helpful to you, and how to get started. Then we'll do a basic practical exercise thinking about gratitude. This lesson can be done alone or with a parent, friend, or other family member.
Make sure you have a pen/pencil and paper or notepad/journal ready.
Leçon 2
Let's Get Journaling: Exploring Gratitude
Today you'll try journaling for the first time with a positive topic. We'll explore the number one thing you’re grateful for in more detail using a practical writing exercise. We'll also talk about what else journaling can be used to express e.g. difficult feelings, stresses, etc, to give you some ideas of other ways you might like to journal.
Leçon 3
Bedtime Journaling
In this lesson, Anna shares how journaling can be used before bedtime to get out anything that’s bothering you so that it’s not so on your mind before you go to sleep.
Then we'll do a practical exercise to try this out. It can be repeated whenever you are having trouble getting to sleep or waking in the night because of something on your mind so listen to this lesson whenever you need to.
Leçon 4
Journaling Challenge
Anna sets you a challenge in this final lesson: an invitation to try journaling for 1 month (either occasionally throughout the month whenever something is bothering you, or as a regular daily or weekly practice). Then we'll try a writing exercise to reflect on your experiences of journaling for yourself on this course.
