This short meditation was created with the intention of helping you find and protect your inner peace during very intense and uncertain times in the world. Through deep breathing, affirmations, grounding techniques, and guided visual prompts, we can more easily transmute negative thought patterns into positive ones. Stay centered and stay peaceful! Hello and welcome to this meditation.

Thank you for joining me through these uncertain and intense times as we collectively find our peace together.

Let's get into a comfortable position,

Close your eyes and connect with your breath.

Cycle through these deep inhales through the nose and deep exhales out of the mouth.

With each breath,

Allow your body to sink deeper into a more comfortable state,

Letting go of any physical tension,

Pressure or pain you may be feeling.

I know right now many may be feeling intensity from the rapid changes and uncertainties.

It is okay to feel through these things as we are all processing something very new.

Acknowledge your feelings as they are valid but also acknowledge that you can work through these feelings by way of directing your thoughts towards positivity and not letting negative thoughts compromise your inner peace.

Remind yourself that you are in control of your thoughts.

Your thoughts do not control you.

A great way to get into a more positive headspace is by doing I Am affirmations.

These are very personal to you but here are just a few that may help during this time.

I am seeking peace.

I am choosing positivity.

I am finding light in the darkness.

I am sending love to myself and others during this time.

I am aware everything is happening as it needs to.

Now you can take this time to create your own I Am affirmations as you let your heart flow.

Ground yourself in that positivity.

Let it comfort you as you let go of any uncertainties.

Let go of needing to have all things figured out.

It is not your responsibility.

This is a time to be compassionate to yourself and others as we maneuver through heavy feelings.

Although we are all on our own unique journey,

We are all connected in our humanness.

Imagine the whole of humanity seeking light during this time.

What does that look like for you?

What does that make you feel?

Visualize a whole world driven by positive intention.

Imagine the collective energy of all who are working to better themselves,

Connecting and covering the planet in white healing light.

Shifting your energy into a more positive and peaceful state takes practice,

But it's a beautiful state to be in,

Especially during intense times.

Now let's build a protective shield around our inner peace.

What does that shield contain?

Is it made with gratitude?

Maybe some laughter?

Perhaps it's the ever-present connection to our source.

Take this time to build your unique and personal shield with the tools that help bring and maintain your peace.

Whenever you start to feel thoughts that disrupt your peace,

Remember that shield.

Acknowledge those feelings and let them pass.

You are your intentions,

Not every thought that crosses your mind.

Focus your intention on being present,

At peace and in a positive mindset,

No matter the circumstance.

Allow your intention to come from a place of love,

Empathy and connection.

Let go of any unconscious or conditioned fear that may creep in.

It only comes from the ego.

This is a low vibrational state.

As we meditate and pray,

We come into alignment with a higher vibration,

Into a state of pure connectedness where we can feel so much good even in the most unsettling times because we are consciously choosing to.

Take a pause to recognize all that you have already worked through to get to this point.

You are strong,

You are victorious and you are guided on your journey to peace and love.

Stay centered in that guidance.

On a grander scale,

Remember that the only route to possible world peace and love is inward out.

It always starts with you.

With mindful intention,

Inner peace,

Love and positivity can not only be achieved but it can also be contagious.

Whenever you feel ready,

You can slowly come back to your body,

Maybe wiggle your fingers and toes and smile because in this moment you found your inner light.

Thank yourself for showing up to this practice and give yourself a warm hug for working through some difficult things.

You can pause this meditation if you require more time but when you feel it's time,

You can open your eyes and move forward with your day in a state of peace,

Grounding and love.
