Namaste,
This is a guided gratitude practice for your body,
The medium through which we experience life.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Gently close your eyes and simply listen to the sound of my voice.
Allow your body to settle and bring your attention inward.
Notice how it feels.
Observe any sensations without labels or judgment.
Simply acknowledge your body and stay with it for the next few minutes.
Slowly bring your attention to your feet.
Thank them for carrying your weight,
For taking every step ahead.
Thank your legs,
Your knees,
Your thighs for their strength and for carrying you forward.
They don't question your direction or your decisions.
They simply move with you.
Bring your attention to your hips and pelvis.
Breathe deeply into the space,
Allowing it to soften.
Thank it for the stability and support it provides.
Take a moment to acknowledge how you're always supported from within,
Even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes.
Now,
Notice your belly,
How it rises and falls with each breath.
Let it relax.
Thank it for digesting,
Nourishing and sustaining you quietly and continuously.
It may not like your choices,
But it still does its job without any complaints.
Bring your awareness to your heart space.
Feel the gentle rhythm within.
Thank your heart for keeping you alive from moment to moment,
For working around the clock effortlessly.
Notice your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your fingers.
Thank them all for all that they do.
They create,
They hold,
They touch,
They carry,
They give.
Now,
Soften your neck,
Relax your jaw,
Your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your entire face.
Thank them for your vision of the world and for what the world sees when they look at you.
Feel your whole body now,
Resting,
Connecting and carrying you from one day to another.
Silently repeat,
Thank you body for allowing me to experience this beautiful life.
I am grateful for you.
I am grateful for you.
I am grateful for you.
Let the feeling of gratitude spread throughout you.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and carry this appreciation with you.
