Namaste,
Welcome to this guided meditation for when your mind feels too loud.
It's alright,
We are going to slow it down together.
Find a comfortable spot,
Gently close your eyes and simply follow my voice.
For the next few minutes,
We are not going to try and stop your thoughts.
We are just giving them a little pit stop to rest.
Remember,
In this moment,
There is nothing else to do and nowhere else to be.
You are exactly where you are meant to be.
We'll begin by tuning into our breath.
Inhale gently through the nose and exhale softly through the mouth.
As you do this,
Feel the air entering your nostrils and leaving through your lips.
Notice the physical sensation.
Is it warm or cool or maybe very subtle?
Observe without trying to analyze or change anything.
Bring your focus to that feeling at the top of your nose and your lips.
Be aware of every single breath going in and out.
Don't let a single one slip by without you knowing.
Now,
See if you can deepen your breath a little more.
Inhaling slower than before and exhaling for longer than before.
When you inhale,
Bring to mind fresh energy entering your body.
And as you exhale,
Imagine the old being released.
There's only limited space inside all of us.
So the more newness we bring in,
The more of the old gets cleared out.
And it's happening right now through your breath.
Let's take five deep breaths together.
Inhale through the nose,
Feel the new air entering.
And as you exhale,
Imagine the old stagnant air leaving through your mouth.
Inhale again,
Think of fresh oxygen filling up your lungs.
And with your exhale,
Imagine your worries quietly dissolving.
Inhale once more,
Inviting calm to your body.
And exhale,
Allowing any mental chaos to leave.
Two more breaths.
Stay with me.
Inhale,
Welcome clarity in,
Knowing you're ready to receive it.
Exhale and feel that clarity gently pushing any air out of your body.
Feel overwhelmed out.
One last time,
Inhale,
Inviting peace within you.
And exhale,
Let everything else go.
Allow your breath to return to what feels natural to you right now.
And simply be.
Rest in this quiet space that you've created within yourself.
You are refueled with new energy,
One that allows you to feel lighter,
More grounded.
Your thoughts may still be there,
But they no longer feel rushed or heavy.
And even if they do,
Trust that with every breath,
You are releasing what you don't need.
Think deeper into that knowing.
Feel free to stay here for as long as you need.
You,
My friend,
Have got this.
