In Finnish mythology Ukko is the god of thunder. He brought the rain with him and fertiled the land. Ukko was also an honorary title, given to a man who lived to an old age. Ukko was celebrated during Summer Solstice in a festival called as "Ukon vakat". His symbol was an ax that he used to create thunderbolts.
