Life is like walking a slackline.
You determine a point A tree,
You determine a point B tree,
You connect them with a line.
Determine the height based on your courage,
Determine the tension based on your skill level and start walking.
Given the wobbly and unstable nature of the slackline,
Staying still is not an option.
You have to keep moving,
You have to keep going.
Never in life will there be a point where you will be able to say,
I have finally found that sweet spot in the middle and no adjustments are ever to be made again.
Life forever stays a wave,
An oscillation,
A pattern and a pulse.
Balance does not mean staying still in the center.
Posture is not a fixed alignment.
They are constant little adjustments along the line we walk.
The shortest distance between two points is a line.
That line will,
However,
Never be perfectly straight.
You will fall down to the left,
You will fall down to the right,
Many times.
High emotions come back to center,
Depression come back to center,
Stimulation come back to center,
Boredom come back to center,
Having everything come back to center,
Having nothing come back to center.
The center is always there.
Tighten the line,
Shake off your body,
Dust off your shoulders,
Take a deep breath and look up.
Walk again,
Balance again,
Keep your eyes on that tree in the distance and have fun.
There is no shame in being a balancing fool.
Everybody is dancing this dance.
