Welcome to Everything is Energy.
I am recording today,
February 14th,
2020.
And while many think of this day traditionally as Valentine's Day,
I want to invite you to also consider another important association with this day,
World Sound Healing Day.
This is February 14th.
And in celebration of World Sound Healing Day,
I got the nudge from Spirit to offer us a sound healing experience,
A heart activation,
And a gratitude meditation.
So this is going to be a little bit more experiential than my normal broadcast,
But hopefully you'll still find it interesting and uplifting.
But before we get started,
I want to touch a little bit on how sound healing works.
Well,
I've spent so much time recently getting ready for my upcoming course in quantum co-creation.
I'm just going to start with quantum physics right out the gate.
Quantum physics shows us that there's no such thing as empty space,
That the space between you and your phone or your computer or your mother were all so intricately connected by the universal field.
And not only are we all connected,
Our consciousness impacts this field.
So to include sound healing into this framework,
Sound has the ability to reach our physical body,
Reach our energetic body,
And reach our brains and affect our physiology and our energy body.
And we are also conscious beings that can create sound,
Whether it be by toning or speaking,
We can play instruments,
We can create frequencies.
And this brings to mind,
You might notice that I play music in the background of my broadcasts and they are most always containing a self-hegio frequency.
Now self-hegio frequencies,
Well this is an interesting story.
This came about during the 11th century from an Italian Benedictine monk.
His name was Guido of Arezzo and he was teaching melodies and harmonies to monastic choirs and he developed this tool which was called the Guadonian hand and where it was where notes were associated with different places on the fingers and the palm of a hand.
And so this was a way for the choir master and the choir to communicate and understand which note was meant to be toned next.
And it's interesting to note that his original notations were the precursor to do re mi fa sol la ti do.
It was ut re mi fa sol la.
So in a future rendition ut was changed to do and there was an extra syllable or note added on the end.
But the ut re mi fa sol la was derived from the first syllable of each half line of the ancient hymn to John the Baptist.
And this is said to descend from an even more ancient work by Horace which was an 8th century BC Roman poet.
So these notes and these tones go back quite far.
And the name that we use,
The term solfegeo is actually based on the word solfege which was the name for this notation method of teaching pitch and sight singing with this idea of the Guadonian hand and I'll post in the notes for this broadcast a picture of the Guadonian hand.
And it's worth noting that Gregorian chants which is what he was teaching,
They have already been known throughout history.
They've been scientifically documented as having an influence on human physiology and psychology.
Some of the studies show people who perform these chants experience the lowest heart rates and blood pressure of their day while they are singing and toning.
And there's other research that suggests that these tones relieve fatigue,
Help with depression.
And there was another study where scientists also observed that people who,
Monastic singers who sang these Gregorian chants needed so much less sleep.
They were needed as little as two hours a day of sleep as a result of the benefits of these tones,
These notes that they were toning and then receiving.
And so the original Silfegeo notes each have a Hertz or a cycle per second frequency.
And our contemporary musical scale is not identical to the original notes,
But many have taken the effort to get them back to the original frequencies.
So I invite you to consider that what you're listening to already has a therapeutic effect on your body and on your mind.
And what we're going to be doing next is I'm going to be playing,
I've got four crystal singing bowls next to me,
And they are tuned to something different than our modern musical scale.
They're tuned to 432 Hertz.
And these are so easily absorbed by our human energy field.
They're tuned essentially to the heartbeat of mother earth.
So what I invite you to do for this next period is just receive these sounds.
So sitting or lying with a straight spine,
Relaxing your body and just gently breathing.
And I'll share that the four bowls that I will be playing for you today are associated with the solar plexus,
The heart,
The throat and the third eye.
So you should feel this in your whole field,
But this is really where the tuning and the feeling will be sent most strongly.
All right.
So just noticing the effect of those sounds on your physical body and your energetic body.
Hopefully you already feel a little bit lighter and a little bit brighter.
And so the next thing we're going to do,
I wanted to play the bowls for us first,
Just to give you a healing and a clearing.
The next thing we're going to do,
I'm going to invite you to tone.
This is where the toning actually positively impacts our own physical body and energetic field.
And it's also that point where our consciousness can affect the world at large,
Where we get to send this tone out into the field.
And since it's world sound healing day,
The tone that we're going to use is going to be the tone for the heart chakra and it's ah.
So if you can situate yourself somewhere where you feel comfortable making a joyful noise,
If you,
If you aren't in that place,
Feel free to do this internally to yourself and know that you can't get it wrong.
There's such a funny thing that's happened in modern society about singing and toning and doing it properly.
And I just want to invite that your intention is everything and your ability to make a joyful noise that's connected to your heart is,
Is 99.
9% of the healing.
So staying connected to the heart center as we spend just the next little bit of time toning the word ah,
And I'll give you an example of how it might sound.
So we're going to be taking a deep breath in,
Connecting to the heart.
Ah,
And then just pausing for a moment in between each tone.
So go ahead and get yourself in a position with a straight spine.
Connect to your heart center,
Right at the center of your chest.
Take a deep breath in and then tone.
Pausing for a breath or two,
Feel the impact of that vibration in your own physical body.
For me it's enlivening and it's energizing and you can also imagine that the entire field and world around you is better for receiving this tone of love connected with the heart chakra.
Let's again connect to the heart center,
Breathe in and then tone.
Ah,
Pausing,
Feeling the effects of that sound.
And I invite you to imagine next as you tone the light from your heart center is also emanating out in all directions.
So you're beaming light from your heart center in continuity with the tone that you're sending out.
So let's take a deep breath in,
Connect to the heart center and then send light from your heart and tone.
Ah,
Pausing,
Feeling the effect in your body and your energetic field.
Two more times,
Breathing in,
Connect to the heart center and as you tone,
Send light out from your heart as well.
Ah,
Pausing for a moment and then one more time.
Deep breath in,
Connect to the heart center and then send light and sound out.
Ah,
Pausing for a moment.
Wonderful.
So see if you feel any different from that toning.
I just love it,
We are our own best proof and there's so much experiential learning that comes from working with sound.
So staying connected to the heart center,
The thing we're going to do next is amplify these healing energies.
We're going to do a gratitude meditation.
So imagine yourself,
Your field,
Being infused with light.
Light from spirit,
Light from earth,
Light from the universe.
As if you're being seen and met by universal intelligence.
And as you connect to your heart center,
Notice what comes up for you to be grateful for.
Just notice the first thing,
Connect to that and savor it,
Soak it in,
Bring it to mind and really truly feel gratitude.
And then releasing,
Moving next to whatever comes next for you to feel grateful for.
Maybe it's just simply that you're able to breathe and listen to this broadcast.
Maybe it's for your health,
For the sun that shines overhead,
For the earth that nourishes us.
There's so much to be grateful for.
Feel whatever comes to mind for you and feel it in your heart.
Notice how your field gets lighter and brighter by just choosing to experience gratitude.
And then releasing that thing that you're grateful for.
Notice what comes up next for you to be grateful for,
Something different.
And just relish it,
Appreciate it,
Feel,
Incent vibrations of gratitude for this thing that is present in your life or this aspect of you that is present.
And then releasing and then one more thing,
One more time actually.
This is the last time we'll do this.
So just bring to mind as if in a big bucket list,
All the things that you have to be grateful for right now in this moment.
Feel them to mind,
Visualize them,
Feel them in your heart and then send vibrations of gratitude out from your heart.
Ah,
Wonderful.
So now connecting to your body and your energetic field,
Imagine the cells of your body are a glow with all the light of gratitude that you've just activated.
And so all you need to do for the next little bit of time is bask,
Float,
Bathe in this sea of light.
And I'm going to play for just a little bit more time the crystal ball for the heart chakra so that we can really upgrade our vibration and infuse these energies with light.
So just breathe,
Feel the light within you and also receive this frequency.

Notice how you're feeling now,
Hopefully simultaneously deeply at peace and relaxed and supercharged up filled with light and life force energy.
