Hello and welcome.
This is an eight-hour sleep journey designed to support deep restoration of the body,

You do not need to stay awake.
You do not need to listen closely.
You do not need to follow every word.
Simply allow this to be a soft container around you as you begin to drift.
Tonight we are entering the frequency of deep rest,
A settling into the Delta state,
A place where the body remembers how to heal.
So wherever you are,
Let yourself arrive.
Let the weight of your day begin to loosen and begin by noticing the simplest thing,
That you are here and you are safe in this moment to rest.
Take a slow breath in and let it go.
Again,
Breathing in and exhaling gently.
Now allow your attention to move into the body.
Feel the support beneath you,
The mattress,
The pillow,
The earth.
Experience yourself being held.
There is nothing to solve tonight,
Only a soft returning.
Begin to relax the forehead.
Unclench the jaw.
Let your eyelids be heavy.
Let your tongue rest.
Soften the throat and allow the shoulders to drop as if they are melting away from the ears.
With each breath,
You are moving further and further away from effort,
Further and further away from the thinking mind and deeper into the quiet intelligence of the body.
Now bring awareness to the chest,
Not forcing anything to open,
Just noticing and letting the breath move naturally.
Silently remind yourself,
I am allowed to rest.
I am allowed to let go.
I am allowed to sleep.
Now allow the belly to soften,
The hips,
The legs,
All the way down to the feet.
Feel the body becoming heavier as if gravity itself is a blessing.
As if the night is gently pulling you inward.
The soundscape you are hearing is tuned to support deep restoration.
The music will continue through the night.
You do not need to stay with it.
You can allow it to carry you.
If thoughts arise,
That is okay.
Just let them pass like clouds.
No engagement.
No story.
Simply returning again and again to the feeling of being held.
Breathing.
Softening.
Descending.
Tonight your only task is rest.
And the deeper parts of you already know how.
