Let's settle in.
Begin to slow the breath.
Gently check in with your thoughts.
Your body.
Your breath.
Where are you today?
This meditation is an invitation to remember your relationship with the living world.
Modern life can sometimes make us feel disconnected.
Disconnected from nature.
Disconnected from community.
Disconnected from our own bodies.
We might feel a constant sense of urgency.
Or importance.
On things that might not really matter that much in the grand scheme of things.
Beneath all of that conditioning.
There is an ancient knowing inside of you.
A knowing of your true purpose.
Unknowing of your higher self Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep inhalation.
Exhale.
Our intention today is to restore a sense of sacred connection between yourself and nature This meditation is dedicated to future generations and to the Earth herself.
Imagine yourself walking along a quiet forest path.
Golden sunlight filters through the trees.
The air smells fresh and alive.
You hear the sound of leaves moving in the wind.
Water flows nearby.
Birds call softly overhead.
As you continue walking.
You notice signs of human presence.
But unlike our modern landscape,
These structures feel integrated with nature.
Trees are no longer chopped down to build asphalt highways.
Small homes powered by solar energy rest gently among the trees.
No mega mansions here.
Rainwaters collected,
Purified.
Gardens flourish everywhere.
Nothing feels forced or unnatural.
Nothing feels excessive.
You begin to sense a deep respect between humanity and the Earth.
You arrive at a circular community gathering space.
People are sitting together around a fire.
Scientists,
Artists,
Farmers.
Healers.
Children.
Elders.
Knowledge is shared freely here.
No one is isolated,
Alone in their homes,
Staring at a screen.
They exist together in community.
Technology is used thoughtfully.
Not to maximize profit.
Make our shareholders happy this quarter,
But to maximize well-being.
To assess for quality of life rather than quantity.
You feel your nervous system soften you Imagine what it would feel like to live in a world where people valued cooperation more than competition.
A world where moving slowly at your own pace is allowed Where rest is respected where healing is communal.
Now imagine moving toward a quiet greenhouse sanctuary.
Inside are medicinal plants,
Flowers,
Fruit trees,
And flowing water.
The space feels sacred.
Both scientific and spiritual.
Sensors monitor soil health and ecosystem balance.
People move mindfully and intuitively through the space with reverence and gratitude.
We all coexist together here.
You sit beside a pool of water.
As you gaze into it,
You begin seeing the future version of yourself.
This future self is deeply connected Connected to community.
Connected to purpose.
Connected to all living beings that inhabit this earth.
Notice how grounded you feel how calm your breathing is,
How gently you move through the world.
This future self understands that healing is not only individual.
Healing is collective.
Imagine your future self speaking to you now You do not need to earn belonging.
You already belong.
You The Earth doesn't ask you to be perfect.
She doesn't care about your education level,
Your salary.
Or your awards and achievements.
She just cares that you are present and take time to care for her Take time to care for yourself.
Feel the support beneath you.
The trees around you.
The interconnected,
Fragile web of life holding you Take a slow deep breath Exhale.
And remember,
You are nature.
Not separate from it.
Begin slowly returning to the body.
Wiggling the fingers,
Wiggle the toes Maybe do some neck circles or some shoulder rolls you can start to blink your eyes open.
Carry this sense of sacred connection With you.
Today and all days.
