Lo que aprenderás
Winter invites us inward. As the days shorten and temperatures fall, the body naturally slows its rhythms. Our breath becomes smaller, our energy retreats toward the centre of the body, and even our mood can feel a little dimmer. This gentle two-day course, Warming Breath for Winter, is designed to support you through this seasonal shift by reconnecting you with the warmth and quiet strength you already carry within.
Across many traditions, the breath is seen as the bridge between energy and emotion, body and mind. Modern research echoes this wisdom: specific breath patterns can influence circulation, clarity, mood, and even thermoregulation. During winter, when the body contracts against the cold, warming breath practices help reawaken vitality and support emotional steadiness.
In Day One, we explore Solar Breath, a right-nostril practice shown to gently stimulate sympathetic activity, increase inner warmth, and lift energy. We pair this with a gentle breath-retention practice that encourages vasodilation and warmth from within — a soft, steady glow rather than a forceful heat.
Day Two brings a deeper activation of the inner fire through Soft Bhastrika, a rhythmic breath that boosts circulation and awakens the diaphragm. We complete the journey with Hot Cocoa Breath, a soothing pursed-lip exhale known to calm the nervous system, warm the extremities, and cultivate emotional comfort.
Each day includes research insights, guided practice, practical exercises, and a moment to reflect on your own inner resilience. These are simple, accessible tools you can return to whenever you feel the cold — externally or internally.
This course is an invitation to warm yourself gently… to build steadiness, softness, and quiet strength through the breath.
Your inner fire is already here.
Let’s tend it together.
