Close your eyes and begin to let your breath settle.

Relax your shoulders away from your ears and let everything in your body relax.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Take a deep breath.

With less effort and more vibrancy,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

All the way from your pelvis,

Breathe in,

To your lungs,

Your rib cage,

And then slowly begin to exhale.

Once that exhale is complete,

Take another deep breath in.

Now take a deep breath all the way from the base of your pelvis,

Through your midsection,

Breathe in,

Expanding and expand through your lungs,

Up through your neck,

To the very top of your skull,

Breathe in.

And then let your breath come out from the top of your head,

Breathe out to your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your rib cage,

All the way back down to your pelvis.

Let your breath come out.

And then one more time,

Take a deep breath in through your nose and fill up air all the way from your pelvis,

Your midsection,

And through all the space to your rib cage,

Breathe in,

Keep breathing in,

And through your neck,

Fill up all the way to the top of your head.

And then slowly,

While relaxing your eyes,

Breathe out from the top of your head,

Let the energy move down through your neck,

Relaxing your shoulders along the way,

And then exhale through your rib cage,

Your midsection,

All the way back down to your pelvis at two points or different places where your pelvis is touching the ground,

Breathe out.

Now for a few moments,

Allow your breath to return to its normal space,

Its normal place,

And begin to notice the space in between your inhale and your exhale.

There's a small space there.

Enjoy that space.

Even begin to increase the space as you notice it,

As you know where your attention goes,

Your energy flows.

So begin to bring your attention,

Your awareness to the space in between the inhale and the exhale,

Between your inhale and your exhale,

Space.

Bring more space between the top of your head and your throat,

Space.

From your throat to your rib cage,

More space.

And then all the way down to your pelvis,

Lots of space for creation to fill up with love,

To fill up with peace,

To fill up with lots of connection.

Connection here with yourself and then connection out with others,

With nature,

With your environment and with all the space in between.

Then take another breath in and notice the space as it fills up from your pelvis to your rib cage,

To your throat,

To your head,

And space,

And then exhale,

Exhale,

Exhale.

And now continue to keep your eyes closed,

But allow your breath to just return to a normal pace as we go on this adventure together.

Now notice any tendency,

Small urge to want to push or move or rush.

And instead when that comes up,

When that happens,

Come back to the space,

Your breath,

The space between,

And start to fill it instead with love,

With peace,

With connection all around.

Now you might have thoughts,

Of course you will,

And you might have feelings,

Or and you might have sensations that arise in different places in your body,

In your mind.

And when those happen,

You connect with them and then bring space to them.

And you resist the urge to act on them.

And this is where the space really comes in handy.

So instead of it becoming a full fledged action from your thought or your feeling,

You just have the space and take a breath and we'll practice that.

And those are all okay.

They're all okay.

You're okay.

So just keep your eyes closed and here we go.

And now imagine that you're walking through a forest.

Lots of trees,

Green,

So beautiful,

So vibrant,

And the path is perfect just for you.

You couldn't ask for a better path to walk through.

And the smell,

The smell is so fresh,

So clean.

And as you breathe,

You can feel it come in through your nose and cleanse out your lungs.

And as you breathe in,

Your cells just take in all the nourishing oxygen from the forest.

And then step by step,

You look around left and right and you start to notice dew drops on the ferns.

Even fresh sprouts of ferns are beginning to blossom and unravel in all the space of the forest.

So much space between you and the plants and yet so connected at the same time.

It's almost as if you're communicating here as you continue your journey through this beautiful,

Perfect temperature,

Perfect amount of light just for you,

Pathway through the forest.

And great moisture on all the trees,

Trees bigger than you ever have imagined,

So powerful and so strong.

And as you walk through the forest,

You can just hear slight movements.

You might even hear birds and you begin to take in,

Absorb the vibrancy,

The strength emanating from the trees.

And as you continue on your journey,

You see such a large tree.

You just have to stop.

It's as if you're seeing a friend again and you want to say hi to it.

So say hi to this particular tree and take it in and thank it for all it's doing for you and for the world.

And believe it or not,

When you stop and take a look at this tree and thank it,

It starts to give back to you.

You start to feel it pulsing through your body,

From your pelvis to your rib cage,

Through your throat and your head,

Just little tiny pulsations of gratitude in through all the spaces that you created earlier.

All that space is now here to take in the strength from the trees.

There's a slight tingling throughout your whole body.

It's as if there are these little silver,

Gold,

Shimmering movements of energy now just all over your being as you stand here in gratitude for this particular place for you.

And as you stand here in your mind's eye,

Begin to explore what it is that you are experiencing or you experience through this process of engaging with the tree.

And when you're done,

Thank the tree for what it's given you and then begin to move on and carry it with you as you walk through the rest of the forest.

The inclines are no problem and you notice as you walk through the forest,

Your strength increases,

Your legs feel so strong,

Your arms so powerful and your whole body strong,

Healthy,

Vibrant.

Your muscles are getting stronger with each step.

Your heart is becoming more peaceful,

Strong and calm.

Your heart is becoming more peaceful,

Stronger and full of serenity as you continue your walk through the forest until eventually your path takes you to the tops of the trees.

And you can't even believe it.

You've never been here before.

You see it for the first time.

It's breathtaking.

And as you take it all in with such reverence,

Your eyes so wide to take in all the beauty,

There are birds quietly chirping everywhere.

They're quiet,

Gentle,

Docile creatures.

They're just living life,

Being in the trees here for you to enjoy.

It's so special to be here.

It's so special to be alive.

It can be so easy to forget,

But here in this place,

You can remember.

And as you stand here enjoying the view with the green and the green-yellow and the different colors that emanate from the trees and all of the energy that's present for you to take in,

You feel your whole head open,

The energy around the space outside of your skull just opens.

It's just like mushrooming out from here,

From your body out so wide.

You might feel some sensation here.

And if you do,

Enjoy,

And if you don't,

Enjoy.

Straight to connect with something greater,

Something bigger,

Something that's always there.

But in this moment,

In these moments,

You can remember something higher than what you ever thought could be possible happening for you right now,

Waiting for you in this forest on this beautiful planet,

This beautiful,

Beautiful planet.

And as all the energy radiates out in a sphere all around you,

You keep this openness,

This connection to this higher place.

And you say thank you again to these trees,

To these birds,

To this experience,

To this forest,

To this space,

The space that occurs in between your thinking,

The space that occurs in between your inhale and your exhale.

And this increased space,

Awareness,

Perception allows you to do just that,

To perceive on a different level.

But now it's time to move on.

And you continue on the path,

Past the trees,

And you see the path starts to descend,

And go down,

Down,

Down.

And you see the dirt now below your feet,

The mud,

Little dew drops again on the ferns and on the plants all around you.

And you continue on,

All there for you,

To support you on your journey,

Exploring through space.

And as you continue on your path,

You see another bird fly right in front of you,

Just in front of you,

A gift,

Saying hi.

You might even see a blue butterfly here,

A yellow butterfly,

Giving you a wink as a reminder to stay in this space,

To stay connected,

And to enjoy your path,

Your experience,

A reminder that your experience is a gift made just for you,

An opportunity to experience this space of connection.

And so you continue down your path,

Down the path,

And you start to remember what a gift,

What an opportunity it is to take your deep breath again in from your nose with your eyes closed still,

Breathe in from your pelvis.

And you might notice that here in the space,

You can breathe a little deeper,

A little easier.

As your lungs expand,

Bring your breath up through your throat,

All the way to the crown of your head,

And you just enjoy any sensation,

Any experience,

And then let your breath come all the way back out again,

Crown,

Throat,

Ribs,

Pelvis.

And as you continue on your path,

You make your way back to where you started,

To that beautiful trail just past the tree that you connected with earlier,

And then back to the trail entrance.

And know this place is here for you whenever you need to reconnect,

Have more space to experience great peace,

Deep connection,

And heartfelt gratitude.

And remember the beauty,

The ease that's there for you in the space,

The space always available with each breath.

And now start to let your breath again return to just normal breathing.

And in a few moments,

We'll close our closed-eyed forest meditation,

And you'll come back to your place,

Your space,

And you'll keep this expanded awareness and connection with you as you move throughout the rest of your day,

Or you engage with your day,

Your afternoon,

Or begin to descend into your sleep,

Your slumber.

And I thank you for being with me on this experience,

And stay here as long as you need.

But when you're ready,

Slowly begin to open your eyes,

See what you see,

Hear what you hear.

Enjoy.

Thank you.
