Honest Expression

The piece opens up with a bird song that I recorded while living in a charming casita on 40 acres of land in Santa Fe, NM. Red dirt. Clear blue skies. Ancient rocks are full of wisdom. Vast horizons. This piece is primarily a Native American flute performance -- contemplative tune; feels like there are questions being asked to Nature and the Universe.

This performance is accompanied by a harp and light percussion which joins in the questioning freely whenever felt. There is no suffering in the not knowing. There's a playfulness and acceptance of the mystery.
