This guided meditation is intended to open a deeper connection and communication with you and your animal companion.
In this meditation,
I will guide you to a sweet space of stillness.
Through breathing and visualization,
We will remember how to connect to a deep space of listening to the frequencies of our beloved pets.
I recommend a seated position,
And if you can,
Have the sentient being you are connecting to present in this space with you.
We will begin with our eyes closed,
Then later when connecting,
I offer you a challenge to keep your eyes slightly open in a gentle gaze while I guide you.
The response by the animals as you connect to them can be validating and profound.
We will begin with a short series of breaths,
Then we will follow our breath in the descent to stillness and observation.
Bring your simple awareness to your breathing.
Is it easy and flowing?
Do you feel any tightness?
Just notice.
Bring your awareness to the bottoms of your feet or your seat bones,
Whichever part of your body is closest to the earth.
Remember,
Energy follows focus.
If at any time you feel any emotion and or sensation too intensely,
Just shift your focus to the bottoms of your feet or to your seat bones.
We begin by inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
Imagine each cell of your body expanding in and with joy of your breathing.
Let go and allow yourself to feel the depth of this expansion,
This beauty,
This perfection with each inhale and exhale.
With the next breath,
Gently open your eyes and feel the softness of your gaze.
Gentle,
Easy,
As if instead of looking and seeking,
You are receiving through the windows of your eyes.
Gaze anywhere your eyes take you.
Bring your awareness now to your heart while maintaining connection to your breath and while gazing with a soft,
Gentle,
Quiet mind.
If you would like to bring your hand up and touch your chest and your heart,
It will help bring focus to this heart area.
Feel your breath inhale and exhale and your heart touch the palm of your hand.
In your imagination,
Communicate to the sentient being that you are here to simply be with them.
There is no agenda.
This is an invitation to allow them to experience our human potential and for them to directly communicate as and if they wish.
Here,
All we are doing is practicing and offering the potential and possibilities in the safety and gentleness and stillness of our heart space.
Breathe in and out.
Imagine now a green frequency emanating and expanding from around your heart space.
If you cannot see the green colour,
Just simply act and imagine that you can.
With each inhale and exhale,
This green expands more and more until it envelops the sentient being and the whole room around you.
Bring your awareness to your body.
Observe and simply witness how you feel.
Now shift your awareness to the sentient being.
As you shift your awareness,
Feel if you sense any subtle changes.
Bring your awareness back to your own body.
How do you feel?
Take a nice deep inhale and an exhale and again shift your awareness to the sentient being in the room.
Now how do you feel?
Do you feel a difference?
Now feel the beauty of that green frequency that surrounds you both.
Does that colour have a different tone to it?
Has it shifted in colour?
Has it become more vibrant?
Or has it become quieter?
If you are feeling any sensations,
Any emotions,
Just watch.
When you are ready,
With each inhale and exhale,
Pull that green frequency back towards your heart.
Inhale and exhale and exhale.
In the softness of your gaze,
Thank the sentient being as you communicate gratitude for the space of stillness where both of you can meet at any time.
This is your human potential.
This communication is our first form of sending and receiving information.
It is our birthright.
Thank you for remembering.
You may close your eyes and gently breathe your way back to your body,
Bringing your awareness to your seat bones or the bottoms of your feet.
Here are a couple of questions to reflect upon.
Did you notice any sensations when you connected your potential to the sentient being?
Maybe a gratitude or a subtle sense of joy.
Maybe you noticed nothing.
Did you notice any changes with the sentient being when you expanded the green colour frequency?
A yawn?
A stretch?
Maybe they got up and walked out of the room.
Maybe they got up and came close to you.
Did they do anything different?
This is simply a practice.
There is no right or wrong.
