Hi everyone,

Hope you are doing well.

I just wanted to talk about feeling unsettled today,

Feeling not grounded in life.

We can always feel a bit disturbed,

Everything goes up and down doesn't it?

And when we are ungrounded and unstable we are not sure where our roots lie and where we belong.

Feeling that unstableness can be a very short period,

Maybe just a day or so that you are feeling uneasy but sometimes when you are not a very grounded type of person you can feel very unsettled a lot of the time.

And this is where we need to look at our root chakra and connecting and really grounding our life.

Walking amongst the Mother Earth,

Nature is a really great way of starting to feel a lot more grounded on a day to day.

When we are quite unsettled our energy is quite unstable and the foundations of our life can feel really fluid and moveable and changeable and that can bring up a lot of anxiety as well when we haven't got that grounded connection.

And the universe is training us in this time of being unsettled to become more comfortable with this uncertainty.

And feeling unsettled just shows the change of energy and in time you will start to feel grounded,

You will start to feel more peaceful and stable.

However you've always got to be aware that no thing is permanent so this unsettled feeling is only temporary.

So what I wanted to do is guide you through today a very short guided meditation to help you feel more grounded.

So if you can just find yourself a quiet space,

We're going to start to close down the eyes and start to calm the heart rate,

Calm the mind and start to avoid any external factors,

Just really coming in on yourself and just noticing your breathing,

Noticing your heartbeat,

Noticing all the small subtle things that keep you alive.

And what I want you to do is just go into a vision and this vision is this wide,

Large,

Everlasting field.

There's nothing around the field but blue sky,

The sun is shining and you're walking through the field and the only thing that stands out to you is this beautiful,

Big,

Mother oak tree.

And this oak tree is standing so strong in this empty field.

What do you see around you as you walk towards the oak tree?

Can you feel the heat of the sun?

Can you feel the cool breeze of the wind?

Can you feel the crispness of the ground as you walk towards the tree?

As you approach the tree,

Place your hands,

Your palms onto the tree and feel the bark,

Feel the ridges of the tree,

The bumps,

The roughness,

Then some fluidity and smoothness.

Start to sense the actual feelings and connection to this universal tree.

This tree is part of you.

Feel as if you are merging as one with this tree,

Embodying the whole sense of this beautiful tree.

You can feel as you embody the tree,

You can feel the roots,

The connection with the earth,

With the universe.

And as you lift your hands up to the sky,

You can feel your arms and fingertips growing out like branches and leaves connected.

You feel as if you could reach the sky,

Your feet feel as if they can connect to the core of the universe.

You feel strong,

You feel connected,

You feel powerful,

You feel this amazing wholeness of love.

A tree with strong roots will always laugh at the storms.

Feel free to drift off into your vision or slowly come back,

Slowly and gently starting to flicker your eyes,

Bringing the light back through.

And feel free to always replay this when you need to feel connected and grounded.
