Every single week,
We dive into a different topic about the internal world.
We do that over the course of five episodes published Monday through Friday.
Now these episodes are short and sweet.
They're under 10 minutes long.
And that way,
Every single day,
You have something uplifting,
Thought-provoking,
Inspiring to listen to on your way to work,
On your walk.
And as a result,
You can go inward every single day.
And the reason we do that is because that's exactly where your inner peace lies,
Obviously inside of you.
Your peace,
Your creativity,
Your happiness,
Your joy,
The source of it is always inside of you.
It's never outside of you.
And by going inward,
Actually shed all of this unwanted pain that we carry with us and we tap into that lasting internal peace.
When we live from this place of joy and peace and connectedness to that infinite,
Non-physical,
Expanded part of ourselves,
That beingness of us,
We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives.
We actually exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane.
We become whole.
We become creators and we become uplifters in our families and our society.
Next thing you know,
We're all leveling up together.
The path to world peace is through our own hearts.
And that is what this podcast is about.
That's my wish for you.
That's my wish for all of us.
Now we have spent 11 full weeks together.
What an incredible journey it has been.
We're starting another week,
Another topic.
And the last two weeks were kind of heavy.
Last week was a really big one.
We dove into your blind spot,
That area in our subconscious mind where we bury those beliefs that we never want to ever look at because we have so much shame around them,
Because we have so much guilt around them.
And then we build entire personalities on top of this false programming.
And as a result,
We spend all of our lives trying to deal with the symptoms,
With the effects,
With the aftermath of building our lives on top of beliefs that are not serving us.
I thought this week maybe we should shift gears a little bit and pick a more uplifting topic.
So without further ado,
This week's topic is creativity.
Oh,
It is so beautiful.
Creativity that's what you are.
You are a creative being.
Whether you think you're creative or not,
You are creative.
Creativity is a part of your makeup,
Your,
I would say DNA,
But it actually is beyond DNA because your DNA is part of your physical existence,
Your human existence and creativity comes from that non-physical part of you,
That expanded part of you.
It is a part of your inner being.
You're creative because you are a creator.
You came here in order to create and your creativity allows you to do that.
So what exactly is creativity?
The dictionary defines it as the use of your imagination or original ideas,
Especially in the production of artistic work.
And then Wikipedia defines creativity as a phenomenon whereby something new or something valuable is found,
Maybe something intangible like an idea or a scientific theory or a musical composition or even something physical like an object or an invention.
Now in my opinion,
Creativity is the way you step into your creator self and you can be intellectual,
You can be scientific,
You can be very methodical,
You can also be very kind of what we conventionally call creative,
Kind of out there and artsy.
It doesn't matter.
Creativity is the thing by which you create and creation,
What actually is creation?
What is it when you are creating something?
Is creation simply a artistic expression or is it also a scientific expression or is it simply the act of creating anything?
Now in my opinion,
We are creating anytime we are engaged in an activity that allows us to express what is within us.
Now we are such interesting beings because we have come here as individuals.
We have come here as separate entities.
So you and I,
There's this illusion of separation between us.
When we look at what we actually are,
There's more we have in common than there are differences between us.
So the greater part of us,
That part of us that gives us the meaning of what we are is the same exact thing.
So we are both nonphysical,
We are vibrational and we are infinite potential.
So that is a lot for us to have in common.
We are love made manifest in physical form and we talked about that during our love week and again,
That's a lot for us to have in common.
However,
The reason we split ourselves into so many different pieces and the reason we come into these physical experiences as separate beings is creation.
We have come in order to experience creation and in order to do that,
We need to have preferences.
Because we have our individual preferences,
What I want and the way I express myself is going to be different than what you want and the way you express yourself.
However,
Because we are the same,
Because we're both connected to that same source of infinite potential,
We both receive inspiration the same way.
We receive inspiration by quieting our minds,
By going inward,
By tapping into our hearts rather than our minds.
Our inner being,
That infinite greater part of us communicates to us through our hearts and we always receive that communication in the form of just absolute perfect potential.
So we receive it as a feeling,
We don't receive it as an idea.
What we do because we are different,
Because my ideas are going to be different than yours,
Because my preferences are different than yours,
When I receive the same exact inspiration that you have received,
I am going to turn that inspiration into an idea that makes sense in my life.
So it's a lot like I've given you a block of gold and now in order to make use of this gold you have to turn it into something that makes sense in your life.
So you might turn it into a necklace,
Somebody else might turn it into a pair of earrings,
Someone else might make gold teeth out of it and someone else might make wires out of it.
So depending on what your individual preferences are,
The inspiration that you receive is going to be turned into something completely different and that's what an idea is and that's what we call creativity.
An idea is nothing other than the first step in creation.
An idea is created,
It's the first time we create something out of the inspiration we have received.
That inspiration is turned into an idea for a book,
An idea for going for a run on the beach,
An idea for a business or climbing a mountain or whatever it is that allows you to express yourself.
In our society,
We define creativity as some kind of an artistic expression but that could not be farther from the truth.
Creativity is anytime you turn inspiration into an idea that makes sense for you.
That is a creative act and if you look at the world in this way,
You start noticing that your inner being actually communicates with you throughout the day,
Every single day,
Every moment of the day when we start living in this way,
When we start living in this creative way.
So we are co-creating with our inner being every single day,
Every moment of the day.
We notice that this communication we have with our inner being is actually a two-way communication and it is happening all the time and it's quite beautiful to witness.
Now today I will leave you with all of that.
I hope it made sense what I'm trying to share about creativity.
I know it's a different way of looking at creativity in general and it might be a little bit difficult to kind of wrap your mind around this new way of talking about creativity.
